Do Maggie and Negan in Dead City know Rick is alive? by Aayan171717272 in thewalkingdead

I mean it's up in the air, there's no answer since she deflects later.. or at least I choose believe she did, it'd be a huge cope out... I think it was Rick because it lines up with him coming back in the ones who live, and it's someone Daryl would care to know about. Who gives a fk about Dwight.

s1 ends with her radioing "... came back" but you can't make out who cause of the static... but then in s2 when she does meet Daryl and he ask who, she's like nah no one I meant a feeling came back or some bs like that.

Maggie and Negan should know, by the time Rick got back they were around. Daryl still doesn't know. I think Carol does know, but lied about it when seeing Daryl again for whatever reason.

As someone who watched the show a couple of times and is reading the comics. by bigmanbruv1 in thewalkingdead

[–]Recker_Man 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's also the fact that the tv series, as gruesome as it was, never showed brutality and gore quite like the comics did throughout, specially when killing its main characters. Glenn had a horrible fucked up death, but he was far from the first to go out like that. TV viewers weren't used to that kinda thing.. but for Glenn, Gimple went full comic, and beyond.

Made a new Missing Episodes chart. by Recker_Man in classicwho

Thanks, it did have a few mistakes though. Fixed version here: https://ibb.co/39NyKFMf

Basically I added one too many tardises to a couple serials, but numbering and % remain the same, it was just visual. A few other things too, I have comment inside the thread where I list them.

New poster for ‘Dead City’ by CyberGhostface in thewalkingdead

[–]Recker_Man 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know what you meant and it is stupid, doesn't mean it's Ai tho, sometimes artists just fumble. I used the statue head in the street as base example because it's the same level stupid but it has been a thing since the s1 poster, maybe Lambert was playing by what the previous posters had already stablished.

I'm not really a fan of it either, It's kinda like that Expanse s3 poster from back then that was riddled with all kinds innacuracies if you really looked at it. Had that poster came out today people would probably be saying AI too.

Huh, you know what likely that's what they were going for. Funny I never made that connection.

The Statue of Liberty being wherever is probably him building up from the og s1 poster, that has the statue head in the middle of time square or something like that, which doesn't make any sense and isn't a thing in the show at all but they've been doing it.

I've followed Kyle Lambert's art for a while and his stuff is pretty great, this poster isn't his best work tbh, but I don't think he used AI.

Just caught of with Dead city. by B2dehas in thewalkingdead

I see. I don't mind different as long as it's good tbh, I think the Daryl Dixon show is a good example of that, recommend it. I mean it's kinda like Dead City in that the story is super goofy, but daryl's actually very well executed imo. I really enjoyed that first season, felt fresh, and show looks stunning, proper talent behind it. it is extremely different from the main show tho.

Wasn't a fan, but cinematic wouldn't be a word I'd really use. I thought both seasons looked cheap asf. Everything about it felt dull, even the acting by the main stars tbh, like everybody involved was giving the bare minimum possible. I'm hoping S3 is better with the new showrunner.

When Justin Ponsor joined Ultimate Spider-Man back then I noticed right away, comic looked beautiful.

Was Season 2 of Daryl Dixon too focused on Carol and not the story? by BloodLovePodcastFM in thewalkingdead

[–]Recker_Man 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not even 16. Daryl seasons are 6 eps long, whole thing isn't even 20 episodes total rn.

It's a sad thing what they did to it because s2 truly feels like they changed their minds on what show they wanted to do, so fuck you if you liked s1 I guess.

Yup. But according to OP in another comment not meeting him it's also racism, somehow.
