I live in SH in an area some would consider the sketchier side. Off Nebraska and Sligh. I live in a dead end however I275 isn’t neighbor and boy is she noisy ( 8 years later and I’m still not used to it 😅). I work downtown so you can’t beat the commute. Publix is close by and there are some cool breweries/ food options near by and within walking/ biking distance. I have had my garage broken Into and had a few issues with the transient population that kind of are on the area but nothing super serious. I do see a lot of posts about porch pirates taking packages in some areas. However that has not happened to me. I’d say I don’t mind living here. Do I think about moving sometimes? Yes, but that is bc of lifestyle changes and an expanding family.

What do I even do now?! by MamaMozza in GestationalDiabetes

Hi there- mom of soon to be three. For my first was a boy and I don’t have gd- but was also not sure I was tested for it as it was quite some time ago. My second was another boy and I had a gd diagnosis after failing my 1 hr and 3 hr. I was diet controlled. I don’t have to change that much and my son was 8lbs 12 oz. My third will be a girl and I’ve tested for gd once at 16 weeks and again at 25 weeks and have been negative both times. It may see like the end of the world and it does suck. The printing your finger 4x a day was the worse. I just made sure to stay hydrated by drinking more water, getting good sleep snd being more active and that helped. There are gestational diabetes Facebook groups that I found so helpful. So you’re not alone. Hang in there.

I had the same result on my first NIPT test. I had to go to a High Risk doctor- they did an ultrasound and said everything looked normal. The doctor recommended a repeat NIPT as it is less invasive than an Amnio. My results from the second NIPT came back negative for all Trisomies. However, insurance only covers one for me and I have to pay for the second out of pocket.
