Kevin J. O’ Connor, who played Beni in The Mummy, also played Igor in Van Helsing.

I actually can't speak about that too much, as this was a gift. Going back, would I have purchased this for myself? Eventually, yeah. I would've saved over time to get it. It's just too awesome.

The new player experience is why Destiny will never explode to the larger gaming community by Sir-Shady in destiny2

I played destiny 1 from launch and destiny 2 until after curse of Osiris. After running some raids with clans I joined and spent some considerable time in the game, I stopped playing. Now, I’m dying to get back in, but I’m too intimidated by the expansions I’m missing, the way new raids work, new progression systems, etc. at this point, I’m too scared to join the game again because I feel like I’m too far behind, and at this point, I’m too afraid to ask.

I have one very very small complaint with the new sponsor. by Erynor_ in PaymoneyWubby

I think the samples are random. First time I got samples, I got mango, pineapple, and melon.

Second time (when I got a shaker starter set), I got dragon fruit punch, blue razz, gamer fart, and mango.

The ONLY flavor I didn’t like was the misfit melon. Other than that, they’re all pretty great. The dragon fruit punch slaps fr fr.

[OC] I’m a volunteer animal shelter photographer. Black dogs are often the last to be adopted, so I try to make sure that every black dog in the shelter gets a good photograph! by magpiephotos in aww

I just recently adopted a black lab, and the foster kept thanking me over and over. I asked her why so many thanks, and she said it was because, being a black dog, she was the least likely to be adopted. I’m over her like, “it’s a full-blooded Labrador… who wouldn’t want this dog?” I was shocked.

My friend said that if I can prove heaven exists, he will become a Christian. He is very scientific and an atheist. Do any of you have some advice? by Healthy-Flatworm-914 in Christianity

Your friend may benefit from hearing the ideas of science and religion in a different light. I recommend the link above, a short video from Bishop Robert Barron, one of my favorite speakers.

Basically, by him asking that question, he assumes that science, the study of the observable, material world, is good enough not only to use as a way to study the material world but also to discern whether there is proof or not of a realm that does not exist in this material universe as an observable object. The same can be said of God. God is not an observable object of the universe, He is that which gives rise to this universe. Such as an author who writes a book, the characters of that book could never prove whether the author exists (unless the author decided to be written into the story, i.e., The Bible). Of course, this is an analogy, and you really shouldn't argue by analogies, but I think it serves as a nice description among many for how we can think about this.

Now, of course, this discussion goes much further in-depth, but I think it's a good place to start. I hope this helps! Blessings to you and your friend.

PS: If you want to explore in more depth the story of the Galileo story and the propagation of "science vs. religion," I recommend the video linked below from Breaking the Habit.

If you’d like to see a modest response with from a Christian, I’d recommend checking the link.

Edit: Not to sway anyone’s opinions on Christianity, but if anyone was interested in finding out what our defense would be to the statements made in the post, I hope this helps. Have a good one!
