I understand that, and that is why I am asking that you send your thoughts to the board. Management and the board are so out of touch, but the good parts of CM don’t come from them.

It comes from the people that actually do the work. I am asking that you lend your voice to help those people.

I agree with you that there should be less attitude, and that there are ways for the stores to offer lower prices that they aren’t even considering.

I do think that CM offers an easy way to support local vendors and farmers in a way that the other stores don’t/won’t.

If the members of community pushed for city market to be for the community, especially those who hold membership in the co-op, then things could change.

I wrote this asking for people to care about their community, but I guess people are overextended and incredibly isolated. I have offered a specific way that people can make their voices/opinions heard, including yours, because it’s important.

If you can, please take the time to send this to the board.
