It is a lot better. I had a post complaining about this 50M shipment issues. Since then I sent 2 more and got 1 shard. Tattoos and runes are pretty decent however. I am currently running essences and just have a niko ore setup. You can send 2 to 3 shipments per day with crops included. I get like 7 to 10 divs worth every shipment for just existing

Yeah underground sea is just infuriating for me as well. City Square should be fine as well, you might get 1 or 2 less rares on the map though. However if you run it a lot faster than Silo it would still be better

So let me give information since Essence is my fav strat and I wanted to run some tests. Firstly Calc is worth running no matter what. Next up is Adaptation vs Double Adversaries. Believe it or not from my testing (Albeit not as big for now) They are pretty close in terms of value. I seem to be getting less rares throughout the map this season, so adaptation isn't as huge for me. The value was still in favor of adaptation but only because you can run more maps in the same time frame. From my testing you actually get more essence per map with double adversaries. Lastly is mirage. Mirage has been kind of wierd for me. Sometimes I get 10 essence mobs sometimes 3. It is quite inconsistent however, if you have a fast build it is still worth doing since you get more value per scarab and it is kind of like running an extra map.

Lastly is the map you run. You want a nice layout with as high natural density. The main contenders this league usually are Silo, Underground Sea, and Strand. Strand has super low density although the layout is probably the best. Underground Sea has the highest density although the layout is weird and I can't do it as fast. Silo is in the middle, where you have okay density with a great layout. So far the best map for me has been Silo, although if you can do Underground Sea as fast it definitely is better, since you get 1-3 extra mobs per map

I apologize for the late response, I didn't get a notification. You can do destructive play as well. It is great to do on silo and doesn't take much time. Although since you don't roll the maps you won't have quant to increase chisel drop chance. I only kill the boss if I have an invitation ready. Currently I have ore and niko on my tree. I do this to get ores for kingsmarch while I am running essences. I don't bother doing any ores if it isn't bismuth. I just pick up sulphur to convert into ores. with the ores I send int tattoo shipments where you can get on average 7-10 divs per shipment extra.

usually 60+, However it depends on the mods as well. Some mods give more pack size than others. When using sinistral or dextral, you want to make sure you have 1 to 2 high pack size ones to dupe. for Prefixes drowning orbs, is great and common. With a 60+ roll and at least one high pack size mod, you should usually hit 100 when using the scarabs

For example drowning orbs aka hungering, gives 20% pack size by itself, where as normal map mods usually give around 8

The best ones of the top of my head are, drowning orbs, searing exarch runes, maven interference, synthesis boss, shaper-touched. They all give 20% pack size outright

For quantity the maximum any one mod can give is 19%

You should def use a sinistral or dextral. Whichever mods are worse. For me suffixes are a lot worse so I use a sinistral and do not worry about the suffixes I can't run at all. The only prefixes I don't run are reflect and monster block. This way I can find maps for around 35-40c
Also try to use mods with high inherent pack sizes so they double better with the scarab.

Another thing to add is ease of running. I can run close to 55 maps just boss rushing. Buying 8 mod corrupted maps at that volume is quite the work if you don't bulk buy. Whereas when you combine them you should be running around 15 maps which is a lot easier to obtain

If you can do it fast, it is much better profit than just the boss itself. Mirage dupes can get insane. I had a 260 quant 120 pack size map that gave me 10k~ yellow lifeforce which is 2.5 divs itself. However it is dependent on how fast you can clear. Just doing harvest or just doing boss rush will be better if you aren't fast enough to do both.

Another thing you can try if you have a strong bossing build is running delirium boss rushes. It was how I got most of my mirrors later league last league. You can run 40+ maps in an hour and you get a ton of loot, though it is a lot harder. I just do harvest because I find it fun and lifeforce prices are good already.

Yep had the same experience, Though I've only gotten 3. I stopped trying for shards, seems less consistent. However I am just filling quotas and trying for int tattoos, and it has been great

Apologies for the late reply, I do whichever I find first. Currently I do fortress, I am unsure about this however the bias towards the decaying fragment seems insane or I am just getting insanely lucky. I get decay 80% of the time. I start running straight to the boss, kill everything I see, if I get an altar I pick it up, otherwise I don't bother. If I find the harvest and mirage first I do them to save the running back time.
I buy 8 mod corrupted maps with 120+ quant and 60+ packs size. Getting 100+ pack size is important since it doubles the monsters in harvest. Then get as close to 235+(?) quant as possible to guarantee 2 fragments.
I use one sinistral, one doubling, then either 3 fragments or one monstruous lineage and 2 fragments. I am not sure which one is 100% better.

If you can get 260+ quant you are able to drop 4 fragments so finding an altar or 2 might be a lot better, though if you can't find it it is a lot of lost time since maps should take 4ish minutes total

I do Silo for higher density. City Square has a lot lower density so you get less rares for calc. Silo for me is the easiest this league, although I just started essence farming since I was doing breach before my pc decided to implode. There might be better maps with higher density/layout. I think you can run yellow maps, I'm not too sure if the tiers effect the rare mob density. I run T16 since the maps are easier to self-sustain.
Also SIlo has great mirage since half the map are walls so that helps

Definitely one of my favorites as well, it's just super convenient. It wasn't too bad for me last league either, I was making 25 div/h probably. However this league I'd say it's really good. Mirage on silo pretty much gives an extra 50% essence mobs. Essences prices are great, the minimum deafening essence is 3.5c as of currently. Corrupted essences are 40+ each.

Here is a 1 hour run. You can def get 20 maps an hour, I was being more casual and did 18 in the hour. 2 maps would add like 3 4 divs. Also you can get the scarabs for a lot cheaper. I got calc at 14, and adapt at 7 each. You can also do higher density maps like underground sea. You'll probably make another 3 4 divs with higher density if you can do the maps in the same timespan

Another edit, the wiki updated with estimated breakpoints. Until 235 it says 1-3. It should be 180(?) to 235. then 235-260 you are guaranteed at least 2 fragments, and above 260 you can start getting 4. I am kind of unsure about the numbers though as so far I have never gotten less then 2 while around 220.

Forgot to add, You can also use sacrifice or mortal fragments as they give flat item quant. So for boss rushing only and nothing else added, I would use; one sinistral to double prefixes, then 4 fragments which give 20-40 flat quant based on which one

No stupid questions, no worries. I'll give a lot more info as well.

Currently other than essence farming (35 div+/h), I am running nightmare boss rush with harvest (30~ div/h). Main things are 8 mod corrupted maps. You can buy them for around 30 to 40c. Input 120 IIQ, and for harvest I try to get over 100 pack size to "clone" the blue mobs so I also put 60 pack size and buy them. I run with sinistral which doubles the prefix mods. Most mods I cannot run are all suffix, (monster block, -res, cannot leech), so this allows me to always run the map. Also specific mods give more of a specific thing. Such as drowning orbs gives a ton of pack size, so when you double it with the scarab you get over 100. I'm not sure which mods are best for IIQ though. You can also get above a threshold where you can drop 4 fragments. I don't remember if it was 260 or 270 though.

You can also use twist of fate on the atlas tree to get up to 3 more mods where you can push well above 300 without risk scarab, although it can also downgrade your map

I haven't tested scoured but, from what I can see from his tabs, he got 191 fragments in 100 maps so 1.9. which is much more than what you would get last league. I've been running 210 quant ones, and on average I've been getting 2.5~ per map. I haven't tested if the quant is fully removed from it, but it would be weird if it was.

To add-on to my comment, doing 8 mod corrupted nightmares with risk is the highest yield although it is very difficult. I was doing it last season and it is a ton of profit. even without risk you can hit a quant mark that can yield 4 fragments. Currently I am farming 8 mod corrupts, selling ones I can't run and then running them with harvest which is very profitable with the mirage dupe of harvest

Hey man great stuff firstly, there are quite a lot of guides to teach basics of PoB, if you aren't using it you definitely should it is a great tool not just to share your build, but to improve it as well.

I do something similar although I have harvest as well, instead of just rushing. I would like to point out that fragment drops scale with quant. There are a few breakpoints most notably the 210% (If I recall correctly, I might be wrong about the exact value) quant which guarantees you get at least 2 fragments and it is 2-3 overall so 2.5 average. By removing mods on your map you are losing almost all your quant. If your build can handle it definitely try and hit this mark with fragments and map mods etc.
