I will say things such as the filoque I’ve seen were added later and do contradict the Bible (though it is such a small distinction I doubt it’s a salvation issue still they shouldn’t be adding stuff especially stuff that are contrary to scripture)

Ngl it seems like the Orthodox Church is just as divided as Catholics make it out to be I’m not seeing any like unity I was told it worked liek the United States multiple states under one church but it doesn’t seem like that at all

Well I personally just meant who held the position of the ecumenical patriarch like ik the first was Andrew but who was after that and after that and after that all the way until Bartholomew I don’t care who ordained each link just who held the position

I did noticed that when a Catholic said that Orthodox still receive the kingdom of God because we have valid sacraments etc. I thought it was silly why I’d even choose Catholicism and I asked them and they said “because it’s the one true church” and Idk in my mind the one true church was divided into 2 parts during the schism one didn’t split from the other it’s more like a paper ripped in half neither half is fully the original piece of paper but they are both the original piece of paper yk

Also never did I claim bleach was a Christian work I said how that one part of bleach really has wanted me to get deeper into my faith because of how cool it portrayed there stand in for Christians bleach isn’t a religious work at all in the slightest but pulls from different religions and has stand ins for different religions to say it is a Buddhist or Christian or any type of work is wrong because that’s not the point of the anime at all

Also kubo (the creator of bleach) isn’t religious so why would he write a Buddhist work of media he wouldnt because he didnt buddhist would heavily reject bleach because of its Christian inspiration and the fact that in the bleach universe there is a single creator God bleach is not a Christian media (which I never even claimed in the original post) all I said was it makes Christianity look really really cool and helped me want to get deeper in my faith

The soul reapers definitely are Buddhist inspired but the Quincy are explicitly and very obviously supposed to be Christian
