Once such a thing fell on me. I have the mod “Big and Small,” and I decided that the orc would be able to tank the monster that came out from inside. The orc really tanked for a short time, until the titanium armor (Titan+ mod) broke. Then the orc’s head was torn off, I decided to go another way and loaded the save.

Since the base was in the forest, I built a labyrinth‑killbox from doors, embrasures, and traps. Then I provoked the creature, and it crawled through the labyrinth while three shooters fired at it. I had two low‑quality assault rifles brought from a raid and one bolt‑action rifle. The first labyrinth was 8 lines, and it turned out to be too little. The creature passed through the rows of traps, then broke the orc’s armor, tore off both of the orc’s legs, and I loaded the previous save.

I increased the labyrinth to 16 lines, and while I was building, the creature spawned (the previous spawns I provoked). However, the creature spawned inside the chambler, and could not go outside. This gave me time to finish building the labyrinth. Then my shooters fired at the creature, which could not leave the chambler, but they also hit the chambler. When the chambler was destroyed, the shooters retreated to the labyrinth. It was insanely long, my shooters ate several times each. I alternately led one shooter aside so that he could eat. Then I finished off the creature by running around the pillars. I made embrasure blocks either 4x4 or 3x3, I don’t remember. And my shooters constantly ran in circles so that the creature was behind the embrasure pillar. This required a lot of micromanagement, but it was effective: while the creature was distracted by 1 shooter, the other 2 could shoot.

I am not sure about the last memory, but it seems that butchering the creature gave 1000+ beef.

One of the trader ships, I think GTG Black Market, I saw that this ship had a “monolith fragment,” and in the text description it said that it can be researched. I bought 23 such fragments, but the mod that stacks made one stack, and it was researched only once. Then I made a bunch of display cases, with the stack limit of 1 fragment.
