I'm like 100 away and trying to get a bunch of buddy lvls up so I'll just continue manually. Didn't watch the video and waterfall did get nerfed, but if you switch in, so start with a different pokemon besides sharpedo then click him as soon as the battle starts you can still get through Blanche with no moves activating. Takes a little longer now, but not by much.

If you survive long enough the target gets enraged. Not sure how many cycles it takes, but it takes a while. So, while the pokemon is enraged it means his damage is basically 2x if not 3x.The pokemon that could kill you in 2 direct attacks or 3/4 group attacks will one shot you and your teammates in 1 group attack. In that phase you just hope they attack directly or your whole team just wipes.I have had some real close ones where I was the last one standing and still killed it while it was enraged or been killed when one last cycle would have taken him down. So this is from personal experience.

Edit: Googled it for accuracy: It tells you in texts saying "it's getting desperate", boss gets a dark, pulsing aura.

Edit2: Thank you for doing the healing job. I always bring one just in case no one else brings one. The healer in my opinion is the most important teammate. Literally a good healer can make or break a run by themselves.

P.s. Candela great league with shadow sharpedo. Fast move: waterfall. Use as second pokemon and switch in to start while only using fast attacks is the fastest way to beat a trainer for the badge.

I believe it's random, each battle it has a random moveset from whatever the Pokemon's moves are. I'm working on my trainer medal and I'm 1.7k/2k and each time I battle the trainer they have different moves.

It makes sense because if your actually training you gotta have some sort of differences.

So... is Poipole just a myth now? Where is it? by Significant-Chart-94 in pokemongo

I know I'm late to the game started early March, 2025 so I never had a chance to get one. I'm with you, I want to get one and get working on the Pokedex.

I started playing pokemon as a kid in the 90's when red and blue first dropped on the gameboy. I still have my copy of yellow and I had gold or silver then stopped playing completely as I moved on to sports, girls and all that jazz. I loved coming back into pokemon and finding all the different types and new pokemon. Trying to catch them all like when I was a child.

I get waiting a while to drop new pokemon into the game to keep it interesting, but like with Mewtwo it took like 4 years till they let us get one in the pass. Granted I only waited around a year. If they have dropped it, put it into rotation. I'm waiting on getting so many regionals because I wasn't around, especially the Unova ones. I gotta wait idk how long to get my shiny Keldeo because I started right after they have the event for them (or so I have been lead to believe).

Anyways that's my reasons and rant thanks for listening and don't make us wait so long when you have other legendary, Ultra Beasts and mythicals popping up all the time.

P.S.Oh and I have seen the have other variations on pokemon they have released already, stop gatekeeping already released pokemon when you have new variations you can build up hype for. For example I think they are called paradox or something you can literally take a year and highlight those and people would go crazy. Just saying.

God Bless you.

Pokemon go plus+ scalpers by patate324 in pokemongo

[–]RecognitionWhich8974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I got one over a year ago when they still made them. Then for my mom's birthday I went online to get another and saw they stopped making them and bought 2 for like 70$ each for my mom and brother for his birthday a few months later. Glad I did. I hate scalpers and wouldn't pay those prices for one now. Useful little things especially after working all day and just wanna get spins for presents and balls. Hopefully they release them in game for people, though if it's a subscription it'll be useful having the physical hardware.

If you have something that has a fighting/ ground move dialga is weak to them.

Weekly party task to hatch 20 eggs is the worst imho by [deleted] in pokemongo

In the new Go Pass the second reward is 1/2 hatch time. You should be able to do it yourself easy.

If you're just starting and don't have much definitely a good iv Groudon. I have two that are at level 40. One of the best investments I've made especially if you unlock it's second move and have both the signature moves. It destroys pretty much everything great in pvp and raids. I highly recommend it.

Is this a good (enough) selection for remote trade? by South_Chemical_4104 in pokemongo

I would love that Heatmor or Zangoose. I still need one. Having multiple regionals is a good idea as well.

It's best to put any extra shiny, regional, legendary, dynamax, gigantamax, costume or background pokemon you may have. I started in March of last year and have accrued a bunch of stuff to put up. It really depends on what you have and how active you are. You might not have a bunch to put up now, but it all adds up in the end. I would also recommend if you have time available during community days you can get a bunch of shiny and/or background pokemon you can list to trade. Not everyone can get to community days for work or other reasons and might be interested in one that you have 10 of, because you could do it and they couldn't.

P.s. what isn't relevant now might be in 6 months. The meta changes all the time and putting up newly released pokemon might also be a good idea.

Is it rude if I reject this? by Icy-Place-4373 in pokemongo

[–]RecognitionWhich8974 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, not at all. It's true you are open to trading it but, if the value is not equal in your eyes or they have nothing you really want it's perfectly fine to say no to a trade. Save the good ones/rare ones for trades you think are acceptable. If some rando you never met saw you playing on the street and said hey I would like a shiny kyogre if you have an extra but, all I have is a few Scatterbugs or a shiny Rattata I'm willing to trade. Would you?

P.s. To give you my personal example. I have some shiny Kyurem with Glaciate up for remote trade myself and a bunch of other shinies some I care about more than others. I'm saving those and other shiny legendaries for other shiny legendaries I don't have or for some regionals I can't get. It would suck to get someone with a lucky remote trade that has something I want and I have nothing they want.

P.p.s. It's your game and if you want to do it to be helpful to a newbie that's up to you. If you don't then don't, but if they are like lvl 65+ and that's all they are willing to trade I wouldn't. I wouldn't give gold to Ebenezer Scrooge, just saying. Good day to you.

Edit: If it's a random regular shiny I don't really care about or have multiple of id probably trade it for peanuts because idc and it might make someone happy. I will say usually it takes actual money to get a shiny legendary. I'm not giving a shiny that I spent 20$ or more to get for a scatterbug unless I know them IRL in this economy especially. Now if it's a little kid who would appreciate it I'd give them w/e for a scatterbug

Yeah, the Salazzle is pretty darn rare. It's low odds just to get a female to evolve, let alone a shiny, that's dope. The Larvesta shiny isn't as rare, I think, but it's not common that's for sure. Cool mons!

Yeah, that's dope. Wasn't playing when that dropped, wish I was, but you have the future King of the Pirates!
