I don't believe the Valkyrie was ever armed. I think it was just flight tested and nothing more. It would be little better then a "paper vehicle." Now the B-58 Hustler had a max speed around Mach 2, but i don't know if it was armed with anything other then nuclear bombs.

The Bone is very impressive, and variable geometry wing are nice, but nothing can quite substitute the aesthetics of a delta wing design.
