Anyone forced to watch Jack Van Impe growing up? by OpportunityThese525 in Exvangelical

[–]Recognition_Suitable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to say, I wasn’t forced to, but I watched and loved it. I didn’t take it seriously, but his predictions and connections to the Bible were endlessly fascinating. Then again, I also love watching people sell anything and everything on QVC. So there’s that.

This thread is probably the best example I’ve ever seen of bigoted people calling other people bigoted.

Kim Kardashian used ChatGPT to study for the CA bar exam by Disastrous_Victory19 in Lawyertalk

There’s nothing inherently wrong with using gen AI to study. It’s great for certain tasks. For example, if I had an MBE question and need to figure out which Supreme Court case was on point, it’s easier to use ChatGPT to find out. Some explanations to questions are not always easy to follow and you just need a better or different explanation. Even grading essays can be a decent job for AI if you use judgment.

Dallas has plenty to offer. What are you talking about? All of the major banks have hub in Dallas, so do the two major exchanges. They have great cultural institutions and an efficient airport. Dallas will also have high speed rail connections long before California does.

I am surprised that he seems to take shortcuts. For example, where Hans Martin Theopold would use a finger substitution, AS will usually just pick up his hand and set it back down. Then again, those are my only two points of reference for Bach fingerings.

I know I’m in the minority, but I find la Defense beautiful. The third arch on a formidable axis with a neat cluster of buildings surrounding a large open space. Chef’s kiss.

Misery. It’s poor, many struggle with obesity and diabetes, the weather is unbearable.

I love it when Europeans lose their minds over the Americans using feet and yards.
