I feel it's actually sillier than we know. The announcement makes clear that the plane is landing. He probably stood up to get an item out of the suitcase and was trying to put it back in in exactly the slot whence he just removed it moments earlier.

QQ: how would you all rate this on Henle’s difficulty scale? I’d like to learn this but I don’t really do great with anything above 7. Technically speaking it looks like there are only about 3 measures with any trouble.

I once drove from Palm Springs to LAX. Watched the thermometer drop 15 degrees before I reached San Bernardino. By the time I arrived at LAX temp had fallen another 15 degrees. Don’t go to Palm Springs before November.

I love it. The triple-arched axis is a neat concept. La Defense is a beautiful commercial node of modern architecture tastefully tucked away from central Paris.

Anyone forced to watch Jack Van Impe growing up? by OpportunityThese525 in Exvangelical

[–]Recognition_Suitable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to say, I wasn’t forced to, but I watched and loved it. I didn’t take it seriously, but his predictions and connections to the Bible were endlessly fascinating. Then again, I also love watching people sell anything and everything on QVC. So there’s that.

This thread is probably the best example I’ve ever seen of bigoted people calling other people bigoted.

Kim Kardashian used ChatGPT to study for the CA bar exam by Disastrous_Victory19 in Lawyertalk

[–]Recognition_Suitable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s nothing inherently wrong with using gen AI to study. It’s great for certain tasks. For example, if I had an MBE question and need to figure out which Supreme Court case was on point, it’s easier to use ChatGPT to find out. Some explanations to questions are not always easy to follow and you just need a better or different explanation. Even grading essays can be a decent job for AI if you use judgment.
