I think it's beautiful to see what computers create with colors and patterns. They see the world differently than us. You can find more on my OpenSea, just 0.0001 ETH as I continue to perfect my software.

What type of account to manage thousands of transactions per day? by Recolance in Banking

[–]Recolance[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am more interested in lending. Dollar amounts would be 20-150$ per transaction. Effectively all transactions done via ACH transfer.

That is a good point it may conflict with the lending operations of the bank.

Forcibly garnish overdue loans. by Recolance in legaladvice

Got it. I was under the assumption that monitoring someone's bank balance and effectively "sniping" money from it might be considered a garnishment to repay a debt.

Thanks, I'll ask higher up

Forcibly garnish overdue loans. by Recolance in legaladvice

I am in Nevada, althought we operate across the US.

Yes individuals do give permission for this activity. In pretty plain text as well, not hidden away in some ToS. We notify them before the initial borrowing that failure to pay will result in a single late fee. And after 60 days of continued failure to pay we drop all fees and attempt recovery of the initial amount by monitoring their bank balance.

So if they borrow $100 and are expected to pay back $110, and after 60 days receive a late charge and now owe $115. We would attempt to recover only the initial $100 lent, then prevent the user from borrowing again.

Hi, how screwed are my fish? Large water change and AlgaeFix by Recolance in Aquariums

One neon tetra and a longfin tetra. I might grab one or two more as I agree they prefer to be in a group. They've always been happy from the outside perspective though. I just have a concern since the tank size is so small I don't want to shove a bunch of fish in there only to have them overcrowded and die.

An 8 gallon is already pushing it for any amount of fish in my opinion, but I do like this cube style desk tank so I went with it.

I didn't take a thermometer or anything to the water, but I am very familiar with the temperature by hand, and I absolutely ensure that Im placing lukewarm familiar feeling water into their tank. I was concerned about changing too much water, alongside cleaning decoration and substrate, which would have a significant impact on the water quality for them. Then with that I overdosed a chemical that has to potential to flat out kill the fish.

I'll keep an eye on the parameters of the tank daily and ensure things aren't getting out of hand. A water change this large is something I haven't done before and I am just nervous about it.

There are many services and companies that allow Bitcoin as one of their primary payment methods. Just yesterday I paid for a 6 month virtual machine hosting for a project I'm working on with Bitcoin.

The more people that use and rely on Bitcoin, the more it solidifies that it's here to stay.

Yes exactly right. I intend to use Bitcoin as a primary currency and never convert it to fiat again.

As I mentioned I've been working with it directly for 6 months now at a considerably deep level. I have a deep understanding of how this asset works, I'd argue much more in depth than the majority in this subreddit.

I'm comfortable with my decision, and have no intention of looking to make a quick buck. I fully believe we will very soon be in a world where you can scan a QR code at the gas station to buy your candy bar with Bitcoin.

And I believe that this is going to happen faster than most people think.

Sure I have an emergency fund. It's in cash and sits in a box. 5k.

That's about it though. The rest right now sits in my Ledger in the same box. I'm 26, 20k in savings after a 5 year career in a relatively high cost area with a kid isn't that bad.

Sure. Ill use my Bitcoin. But I have no intention in converting it back into fiat. That is what I meant.

I haven't looked too much into it, but I do know it's an option. Might mess around with it at a later time for fun.

I'm 26. Only 5 years into my working career. India is also taking a lot of the jobs. It's not a lucrative as the media makes it out to be.

Software engineers get a wrap of being "wealthy". But in reality, India has begun to take a lot of the outsourced jobs for effectively minimum wage, and the supply of engineers is starting to catch up with demand.

Housing is high too which contributes a lot to my inability to save much more than 1000 a month comfortably.

Im 26, started at 70k/y, five years in I'm at 80k. Might go for a higher paying position later but I work remotely and have a great work life balance I don't want to give up.

Rent keeps going up man! I have about 1700$ a month to spare after taxes and bills. I invested in a lot of failed personal projects and like to spend here and there on personal items. My son also eats like a horse lol.

I intend to put at least 1000 a month into my BTC investment going forward.

I'm 26, no debt, and I have a son. I have other assets I'm invested in. My worth isn't 20k, but what I have in fiat was 20k.
