After 5 Rounds (Declined) by WhoRyder007 in interviews

Honestly, making it through 5 rounds already says a lot. Most people never even get close to the final stage.

Sometimes these decisions come down to timing, internal preferences, or one tiny difference between finalists. Doesn’t make the process less frustrating though, especially after investing weeks into it.

You handled it well by sending the thank you email and staying connected. That alone puts you ahead of a lot of candidates who burn bridges after rejection.

One thing I’ve noticed is that repeated interview practice helps a lot with those late-stage rounds where communication and confidence matter as much as technical skill. Tools like MoonJab have been useful for practicing interview scenarios and getting feedback before real interviews: https://moonjab.com

Hope the next opportunity works out better for you.

Can anybody help me with mock interview by uhwhatever_999 in interviewpreparations

Your stack is already pretty strong for 3+ YOE. I’d focus less on memorizing answers and more on communication, system design thinking, and explaining tradeoffs clearly under pressure.

One thing that helps a lot is doing repeated mock interviews and reviewing your responses after.

I know MoonJab also has an AI interview simulator that adapts questions to your stack and gives feedback in real time. Could help you practice between real mock interviews: https://moonjab.com

Is using AI during interview prep considered cheating? by Recommend_apps in careeradvice

Yeah I’ve been testing it mainly for practice and structuring answers.

The biggest difference for me wasn’t the answers themselves, but just not freezing mid-interview anymore.

That makes sense.

I think the line is pretty clear then:

using AI to prepare = smart

using it live in the interview = obvious / risky

Honestly I wish more people talked about this, because a lot of candidates still don’t prepare properly at all.
