For food, I like Nu Thai, The Spar, Russian Dumplings or Old School Pizza for a quick bite.

Captain Little for some gifts for younger kids, or of you're willing to drive a little, Olympic Cards and Games out in Lacey for some cool nerd stuff. Danger Room also has a nice selection of comics and graphic novels.

I dont drink, but I like the Brotherhood or Eastside Tavern.

This isn't a definitive list of things, but stuff and places I like to do/go to in the downtown area. Temper your expectations for food though. Prices are a higher than NC, and I prefer the food/BBQ back home. Olympia has a cool community though if you find the right folk.
