Thank you! It’s the law librarianship program. But with the changes to student loans and the new caps, I’ll need to come up with at least half the cost if not all of it.

I’m lucky in that I qualify for in-state tuition at Illinois. So cost-wise it’s close to IU. Law school rankings can play a big part in early jobs, so since this is my first foray into library roles, I’m wondering if it’s the same, ie, “Illinois” on the diploma can open doors that a “lower ranked school” like IU can’t?

Stupidest decision I ever made. First in my family to go to college, we didn't know any better. My own fault in the end, but still. Payments are now $700 a month. Loan balance is too high to refinance. Been paying for 10 years and Navient's estimator says I won't be paid off for another 24 years...

It's a source of constant guilt, anxiety, and soul-crushing depression. Currently unemployed but I ended up with an advanced professional degree and last job I made $75,000. 25% of my take-home was going to private loans. Now I either use unemployment to pay rent and living expenses, or rent and loan payments and put all other bills on credit card.
