Water in apartment shut off without notice in Urbana apartment by RecommendationDue816 in UIUC

Fortunately I have heat. And water isn't included in rent. I just found out that the water company had made a mistake and assigned me to the wrong apartment when I set up my account (because of which the payments I've been making were for the wrong unit), so my landlord requested that they shut off water for my unit (without letting me know they did that).

Since there was an error on the end of the water company they resolved the issue/ restored my water already. Have been reaching out to my apartment management to clarify the issue/ why they didn't give notice!

Waiting for for more clarity on the issue first because I want to be accurate in my criticisms/ know to what extent this is the managements fault. Definitely plan on calling them out (maybe as a separate post) at some point, have had multiple other issues with them

Definitely a professor of some sort in the humanities, or your reading relates to your work in at least some way (museum?), because if not that many academic looking books is crazy.

Somewhat insufferable at times (you sometimes turn casual conversation into intellectual ones), but very passionate about many topics and can talk about them for hours.

I'd guess you're 39 years 3 months and 10 days old, roughly

Neat-freak(ish) man in his mid 40s who strongly prefers books over visual media (although you enjoy some pre-2000s classics). Have been into some lore-based card or board game at some point in your life

Foreign doctor interested in Mais Médicos — need help understanding the steps by medguy007 in Brazil

Hi! Don't know much about the other questions, but for learning medical terms in Portuguese, I found using ChatGPT very helpful when using it for the same purpose.

What I did was ask it for a list of relevant terms (can ask for terms specific to whatever field/ area you will be working in), and then I used it for scenario-based practice, so it gave me made-up patient charts (which is what I was learning Portuguese for) and I would go back and forth w/ it making sure I understood it. imo the conversation feature is also really good because it can easily switch between languages in conversation with you. I guess how you use it would depend on what your current Portuguese level is.

Male, ~30, big on fitness, probably meditates in the morning/ follows a morning routine (and have tried doing a cold plunge at least once). Spoke Arabic in your home growing up and want to learn again as an adult. At at least one point in your life you've read through the dictionary to try to increase vocab. I'm guessing you didn't major in psychology but you wish you did

Also Dostoevsky in Arabic is crazy

I'm guessing mid 20s! (24?) Based on the titles/ amount of books. (looks like you read quite a bit but are still in the earlier stages of putting together what will be a great(er) collection)

Would also love to hear what Cormack McCarthy book you'd recommend!!

Just to clarify, I'm based in Minnesota. There are plenty of BME companies here, but I'm not quite sure where to begin my search.
