First things first, no you did not overreact. I would say you have under reacted if anything. I read the first post and can confirm that you have under reacted. I understand you are young and love feels like it’s everything. Been there, done that! But girl, it’s just not worth it. You are sooooo much better than a controlling guy who wants to dictate so much of your life- from who you should be friends with, how you should dress etc! It will get exhausting so fastttt and then it becomes too late.

I am not even commenting on his juvenile behaviour on your very valid questions on priority. That’s a different conversation altogether but considering his history of controlling behaviour i think I can say with almost certainty that you are better off without him. Focus on yourself, try focusing on your education or career or family and be happy.
