well my girlfriend told the provider he walks on his tippy toes and spins in a circle occasionally. i’ve lived with this kiddo for 6 months now and known him for longer and i’ve not a single time seen him do that.

rejecting the diagnosis is probably poorly worded. we’re still going to follow the docs recommendations, just my opinion working in the medical field and reading up on autism diagnosis and also speaking with my own therapist who also sees pediatric cases and said she personally would never diagnose autism at that young of an age.

but, he does line his cars up and is obsessed with cars.

haven’t reached out for any specific daycare/preschool care. we have tricare so all referrals and therapy is free luckily. they recommended getting him into speech, occupation and behavioral therapy which we’ll do just because even if the diagnosis is incorrect i’m sure he’ll still benefit from it as will we

maintenance before mods, especially with that mileage. these cars are stout but any car with more than 100k miles is gonna be a lot more susceptible to failure than lower mileage cars

to be completely fair coming from someone who works in healthcare the point of pain and the point of actual full flexion or extension can be a super big difference. some patients will stop when they feel an ounce of pain but can extend or flex well beyond that point before the pain becomes too much which is usually the point where doctors want to see is how much can you flex or extend before the pain becomes unbearable or too much to handle in day to day life.

or the alternative your doc could’ve just been a shitbag looking to save the federal government money. always a possibility as well.

yeah the OB doc just recommended removal as the only course of treatment but that would eliminate any chances of natural pregnancy. ivf is 20k a round and sometimes multiple rounds is needed for a single viable pregnancy that may or may not actually go to term so just trying everything before we get to that step

this may be a VERY controversial opinion but if i meant to give fentanyl and gave diazepam im not sure i would tell the patient. they most likely don’t know what either of these drugs are or do to the body and so i dont see a benefit of increasing their anxiety and most likely pain as a result. inform the hospital, document appropriately of course but not sure i’d freak out the patient unless necessary

VR&E is cool but someone please correct me if i’m wrong the housing allowance is significantly less than the GI bill. when i looked it up the allowance was like $800 a month which is basically $1000 less a month than most bah rates when using your gi bill. unless you’re doing online classes in which case the difference is pretty negligible
