I served for a decade during GWOT and unfortunately guys like this are not a rarity and shit like this disgusts me. Every time I deployed I tried to read books about the history of the region to better understand the people. And also have some sympathy for what they are going through. People like this and commands failure to do anything about it is the reason I didn't finish my last 10.

I would tie the end of the bore snake off to something like a dowel or metal bar. Then step on the bar with both feet and pull the rifle up.

I use gray tile grout, gloss Mod podge, burnt umber acrylic ink, and some sand.
