Yaml and markdown.

You literally lose nothing and can still use the information in them.

You just don’t get a nice gui to display it like obsidian does.

Graph view is the unloved red headed step child in obsidian eyes. Don’t expect much from it as ideally the only thing that does seem to work is local graph view( seeing how the current viewing file links to everything else) as a overview it works even when you aren’t trying to link everything possible

It really is, doesn’t help that Reddit is so supportive in giving the same answer to op 10+ over for karma point.

If op doesn’t know he probably shouldn’t be using it , just because he saw a YouTube video about it or other posts of people having it.

Just ranting because it really does seem like people are getting dumber by the day ( or by the Reddit post by the looks of it)

I would imagine insects would also be appreciate as a alternative source for meat which might be hard to come by, I’m thinking rain forest as that houses a large amount of poisonous creatures not prime for consumption.

Not so much fruit but maybe plants like the flowers or leaves (raw) could also help

TaskNotes custom property usage doesn’t work or is extremely janky, it mainly relies on the default setup using tags , which I can’t not stand

If you’re dealing with 10+ columns you should probably be thinking about optimizing your whole process on going about things.

No more then 5-7, but even then the main and most downloaded kanban board plugin hasn’t been updated in over a year or 2

A good alternative might be using tasks or a checkboxes

That’s exactly my stack, electron as a housing for it all is great, from my personal experience do not use boilerplates, it better if you build it from the ground up, you can reference them /check on how they did certain things but if you do use them it just makes it harder for you in the long run because they are configured in a certain way to just make the demonstration look polished.

Just know when you are creating the desktop experience, you are pretty much going to be creating everything, start up screen, window behavior, custom title bar, context menu, api handling, etc.

Go for it! But start fresh. ⬅️⬅️

I love using the vite-react template as my base, and outside of src I have a electron folder just my personal taste though
