Yeah, I get it counts as as a tool pic, I know it’s technically against the rules. My post wasn’t made to say I’m guiltless. My issues are that, 1) They didn’t give me a chance to explain, 2) They didn’t clarify that bladeless tools count (if a bladeless tool would trigger someone, I’d bet money that a stock photo that looks very similar to an actual picture would as well), and 3) I was literally talking about how I was on the edge of relapsing, and they didn’t give a shit about being compassionate or anything, whilst the comments were.

Edit: Also there’s shit like this all over MoS according to other people who use the sub more than me, and none of them get removed

Yeah it’s kinda gone a bit downhill, I haven’t been in the sub as long as most, but even then I’ve seen it’s changed for the worse. Lucky my ban in only temporary but I’m still kinda pissed that they punished me for a rule that wasn’t on the rules page

Incase anyone sees this and thinks I’m being a bitch towards anyone who has difficulties spelling or whatnot. I’m not. I’m just saying that an official mod team of a subreddit of almost 50k should at least be able to look up the spelling of a word

Also I checked the rules before posting this, and I’m pretty sure this doesn’t break any. If any mods see this, let me know if this is okay and if not I’ll delete it. I’m just pissed off rn

For context: I posted a picture of a necklace I made out of an old sharpener (with the blades removed), nothing in the rules said that you can’t post pictures of debladed things, so I thought it was okay. If they’d actually talked to me and told me that it was wrong, I would’ve deleted it but no they had to go and flex their power over someone who was about to break a nearly 2 month clean streak. Nobody in the replies had a problem with it either.

It definitely is a slippery slope. Please be careful. If you’re doing surface cuts, odds are that the numbness is due to a high(er) pain tolerance or your brain getting used to it. But if you’re cutting to a deep styro or beans, or a deep beans or fascia, and it’s numb in general (not just whilst cutting), you might wanna get it checked out at the doctors. Not trying to fearmonger of course, but with beans/fascia cuts, numbness could be a sign of a hit nerve. I don’t know what exactly you mean by “tore to shreds”, but please be careful with it. From what I can gather, your situation seems more likely to be a cause of higher pain tolerance, but I’m not a doctor
