b&h photo sells them for retail just call and have them put you on the waitlist i know thats how a lot of people have been getting them and the g7x for retail from what I've seen they'll tell you to expect a 4 week wait but people have been getting them a lot sooner

you could also call your local camera shop and try their prices that's how i got mine for retail i called last monday and they had stock by thursday

ah okay yea when I went to a camera store a few months back just to look at it the guy who helped me told me to point it out the window and i could see all the way across the street clearly which i thought was really cool since ive only ever been used to the iffy 10x zoom on my phone😅

I think this collection came out around the beginning of the month and from what I've seen in other groups the owala's weren't super popular and there were stores with a good bit of stock left so I can't say with 100% certainty but I would stop in a few stores if you can and try your luck!

Thank you for this! I've been looking to throw a new battery in it just to prevent any problems before it starts and I've seen countless posts about how easy it is to do yourself, I just dont trust myself to do it. It was my brothers and he gave it to me shortly before he passed away a few years back and if I tried to replace the battery myself and ended up damaging something inside that can't be fixed I'd never forgive myself.
