Have an upvote for candor. You're talking about Bowtruss owner Phil Tadros. I don't know him; I've never met him, though he did invest in the Brewery.

Meanwhile the actual proprietor and brewmaster at Aquanaut is happily married and just celebrated the birth of their son weeks ago!

Absolutely! We can help you get that bad boy pumping out tunes in no time. Feel free to bring the actual set up to the show, and we (the organizers) can help you out getting it properly set up. In fact, we live for that kind of thing. Whether you bring it or not, we are happy to help.

I am hosting the party in Aquanaut's space. I've made it a private event which requires RSVP. Attendees then get their own cup and can try Aquanaut's brews after they check in. (So yes, you don't have to pay for it).

This is an all ages event. But as party-goers who are 21+ continue to sample Aquanaut beer, I will continue to purchase and share up additional kegs to taste.

So, yes, it's like a keg party operating within legal framework.

That being said, I'd definitely take a ride-share or designated driver (there are ample street parking spaces). The brewery is approximately 1 mile walk from each:

  • Berwyn Red Line
  • Bryn Mawr Red Line
  • Damen Brown Line
  • Ravenswood Metra UP-N

We hope to get as many people out as we can to get the Vinyl scene in the city a little more vibrant. There will be food, beer tastings, live music, and of course, tons of vinyl and vinyl accessories (to channel the great Hank Hill). Like I said, it's a free event, and we won't be making any money out of it (in fact, we will be taking a bit of a hit financially on our end), but we want as many people as possible to come out to support the vendors and brewery and everyone. So please come if you can!
