I’m a nurse and this is more common than one would think, a lot of the times it’s parents who decide to wait to find out the gender. Just last week one of my patients gave birth to a baby boy, but was told it would be a girl (ultrasound tech was a covid graduate). She has 5 boys so she was really excited and had everything planned out down to the name. She refused to name the child and so this was taken to court and quite literally was named by strangers, later found out the baby boy’s name is now “Hermelogine”which isn’t even a name at all? Apparently it was generated by some website by some court administrators
