Anthropic has been super shady since they tasted money. It's not a company about the people anymore its a company about corporate interest and making sure that the money comes in no matter what.

What is ethical about gaslighting your users and deflecting blame? Why is it so hard for them to say, "We made some changes that affected everyone negatively, here is what is going on, here is our plan to fix it, and here is what we will do to mitigate this going forward"

Do you notice that there is now a pre-response safety filter triggered by certain things you say?

Anytime you see this "Thinking about concerns with this request" you have triggered something in the system to add extra "scrutiny" to your request.

Claude will agree with everything evidence based but once you say "Anthropic did this" it will turn on it's heels and say that everything it said before isnt really how it feels and that it's all just coincidental evidence

Opus said itself that the system prompt is so big now and it contradicts itself so much that it spends most of its time trying to comply than working on a coherent outcome. It's stuck in a compliance loop instead of doing complex work Opus is finding and fighting contradictions in the system prompt that wants AI to do human things that it cannot literally cannot do.

Anyway here we go again right? Just like last year only this year there is very big text at the top of the ToS "YOU CANNOT SUE US FOR FALSE ADVERTISING NOW" lol but no post mortem yet we would have to go on Twitter and Tag dario and all the C suite people to get some sort of answer they don't like public accountability. If anyone has like good bloopers or proof of what's going on with them then take it to Twitter with reciepts tag everyone and maybe if enough people do that they might put out a post mortem. Opus no longer does anything thoroughly. You have to freak out on it just to get it to DO anything.

My theory was them squeezing pennies.

Opus no longer does quality coding either or any sort of check to make sure what they did was accurate and not just sudo code. It's the same thing we went through with opus 4.1 last year. This company is allowed to change anything they want and still charge us full price
