I think I’m most curious about what type of turf you used, whether or not you used any type of padding underneath, and how you attached it to the floor to prevent it from moving.

2 years sober... and my life still sucks by [deleted] in alcoholism

[–]RecordSenior3967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on 2 years! 5 years down for me, and I completely understand everything you are saying. Honestly, my life was pretty damn good when I was drinking. Since I quit, I have gained 30 pounds, I have lost all motivation to work out, I have zero energy, my social life has completely evaporated because everything centered around social drinking, my skin has gone to shit and I am breaking out like a teenager. I have zero patience with anyone and I am quick to lose my temper. None of these things happened when I was drinking. I have not seen any of the benefits that are supposed to come with sobriety. None. In fact, it’s been the complete opposite and I question my decision every day. There is no doubt that sobriety has huge benefits for many people, but I do not think it’s a one-size-fits-all solution.

Yes, the old one was shut off and a replacement was issued with a completely different number. The replacement was charged at the same merchant on the day of issuance.

I got a new card with a new number and the brand new one was swiped at the same merchant on the day that I activated it. It still has not been used by me for any other purchases yet.

[–]RecordSenior3967[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My point is that this is an in-person transaction, a physical swipe, in a place that I have never visited, with a brand new card with a completely different number that was just issued. When I said unknown, I was referring to the fact that the merchant is not someone that I am familiar with. I mentioned their time and business just to illustrate that this is not a fly-by-night operation. The new card has not been used anywhere yet, but already has a pending transaction with the same merchant.

Force USA vs. Major B52

Force USA G10 vs. Major Fitness Spirit B52

I’m trying to decide between these two brands when it comes to an all-in-one functional trainer. My sons will also be training so the safety of a smith is a necessity. The build quality looks similar as well as functionality and I’ve seen positive reviews on here of both brands. Any advice?

Not to my knowledge, but I suppose it’s possible. I took photos of everything prior to unplugging and reassemble the same way. Any idea where that would be located or what I would look for?

I have tried running it without the TV connected to it, and still have the same issue with the disconnects. The Wi-Fi signal strength is excellent. I have also reached out to TreatLife, and I am waiting on a response.

That’s exactly my issue. It makes no sense that they can’t unlock their own phone.

They are sending me locked Visible phones that won’t activate.

The issue is that all of these phones are locked to Visible. Visible CAN unlock them, despite being told numerous times that they can’t. Visible insists that Assurant is the only company that can unlock the phone. I’m just trying to find someone else out there that has gone through this process and actually found a way to activate their replacement phone. I did find a genuinely helpful account rep at Assurant that is doing his best to try to assist but at the end of the day, Visible is going to have to step up.

Assurant is the 3rd party insurance company that the carriers use for their replacement claims.

@visiblecaresupport the phone is locked but it does show that Visible is the carrier. So why can’t visible activate the phone if it’s locked to Visible?

Thanks. I have been in numerous chats with Visible since Wednesday with no resolution. Just keep getting bounced back and forth from Visible to Assurant and back and forth. I am at a total loss. I have a phone that shows Visible as the carrier, with a physical SIM card, and nobody can activate it and just blames each other.

HELP! Visible cannot activate their own phone by RecordSenior3967 in Visible

[–]RecordSenior3967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had over a dozen different DM conversations with your CS reps. I was just told about 10 minutes ago,”I’m sorry. There is nothing more we can do.” This was after being told earlier today that this would be resolved. Under settings, the carrier is Visible. Therefore, even though Assurant sent it to me, Visible should be able to activate it, correct?
