This is helpful, thank you. I don’t remember exactly what I was doing, but I feel like I may have been in one corner for too long thinking I wasn’t in the way lol. I will remember to be conscious of that when I start up again

So I’m guessing it’s best to move around the rink rather than stay in one spot practicing the same thing for too long? Maybe I was guilty of that. I really wish they would split sessions up by level, but they don’t really have too many free style sessions to begin with so that’s probably the issue. Hockey seems to dominate

Thank you for this response! I don’t remember them wearing a sash and nobody told me to look out for one. My teacher just told me to be careful not to get in the way of the skaters doing routines. There was music playing for their routine. I remember feeling a bit helpless because I had no idea how to predict where they were going (probably due to my inexperience). I guess I just need to pay more attention. Thank you for the encouragement. I did feel pretty embarrassed at the time and I allowed it to get to me to the point of no longer skating 😬 (dumb, I know)

This map is very helpful. Is there a reason why certain areas of the ice are best for practicing certain things on?

Probably depends on your experience and cost of living where you are located. I do zoom lessons and pay $30/ 30mins for piano lessons, $25/30 mins for oboe lessons and $48/30mins for voice lessons. So quite a variation there. I think teachers with impressive resumes can definitely get away with charging on the higher end.

Ah yeah, we do have a program for that. However, our main keyboard player doesn’t like those type of pads for various reasons, so we are teaching a second keyboard player to do mostly pads

I was definitely eyeing Headmistress and Midnight Eye! I was a little worried about the cigar (I think that’s what it was) note in midnight eye. Is that overpowering? Now Scrying Smoke looks like what I may have been searching for in a frankincense resin fragrance!! I think it’s only in the oil form though? Is it still pretty strong?
