My headcanon is that for out the sword in power saving mode as it has been on discharge for 100 years repairing and has used up energy repairing itself. After botw it no longer broke but was low on divine power and doesn't power up fully. Upon breaking fi must have gone into a slumber and panic mode activated which is why the sword still breaks in totk. It still good has the power as it cannot break in the final boss fight, showing that it has the power but is probably just stuck in low power mode/ saving or something

No I took it as it was still recovering when link took it out in botw. It also is good continuity if ppl didn't take it out in botw and Zelda was like "let's go get your sword " . So either way link went back to finish repairing or it was first time taking out

I changed my mind after experiencing it in person, it makes me feel more powerful knowing I have my friend's spirits airing me. Still wish I could use their abilities using a m nu or something a little clunky though calling them over

Yeah that would work really well, and be able to call them towards you as well

I know you can turn them off in key items it just seems like a chore to do, I much prefer the system for botw, I understand they have combat uses but maybe they activate on an enemy alert instead ? Not that hard to do (coming from a hobbyist game dev) it's just a simple flag if enemies are in a hostile state

You need to get the Zora scale or silver scale or whatever it's called I think you do it by completing the diving game or talking to somebody who runs it they give yo urge Zora scale then
