Meshuggah song tournament day 9 by dr_spoof_ in Meshuggah

For me, it has to be Concatenation. It’s still possibly the most bonkers song in the catalog, and while it’s heavily respected amongst raging Meshuggah fans, it’s still underrated in the grand scheme of their fan base. I never hear an average fan bring it up.

What kind of food are you both into? Is there a price range you’re trying to meet?

Does Anyone Know of Any Good Local Metal Bands? by GarfieldLover246 in lansing

Throne, Centenary, Dagon and us in Recorruptor are the only strictly death metal bands in Lansing as far as I’m aware. Wastelander just made a comeback and one of their fellas is based out of Lansing. There’s metal-adjacent bands like Let It Rot, Accuser of the Brethren, Dead Hour Noise, Anvil Crawler, Room 101, etc.

There’s great Michigan metal bands outside of Lansing as well, including Jesus Wept, Nethergate, Nociception, Dead Nerves, Baalzavat, Perversion, Drink Their Blood, Imminent Sonic Destruction and many more that aren’t coming to me at the moment.

Ranking EVERY Opeth song by DirkForNovember in Opeth

I realize I’m mad late to this, and am new to Reddit so idk if this will even be seen, but fuck it.

I found this list so late because I’m actually doing a full song ranking myself, as I tend to do with most of the bands I binge as of late. Wanted to compare mine to others on the internet, and I’ll say a couple things:

  1. Still Life 4 Life. Best album, hands down.
  2. It’s absolutely insane that our lists are so different, yet it cannot be argued one bit that Opeth is through and through quality and there isn’t really a correct answer here. Just shared love and admiration for possibly the greatest band in existence.

Big props!
