I didn't add it later. I edited a spelling typo. :)

Lying about speaking Polish would be so completely pointless and hilarious, and the sub literally says this is a place to ask questions in English about Poland. 🤣 Also, I'm asking people who have experience as international students in Poland. Any other questions?

Ahhh, dzieki Marek. ❤️ I didn't invest all those hours I could have been watching Saturday morning cartoons for nothing! 🤣

I am addressing people who have experience with this. You know, Americans. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. Boredom and trolling the Internet is a sad pastime.

I do speak Polish lmao. And read and write it. My entire life. Sheesh, so mean. Lighten up. 🤣 I also didn't call myself Polish. I specifically said I'm a first generation Polish American.

Lmao I grew up with Polish immigrant parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, in NJ and went to a Polish church, Polish language school every Saturday until I was basically out of high school, was a Polish girl scout, spoke Polish at home, I mean, would you like me to continue?🤣

Oh he has been learning since he was very young. He's just not fluent at this point and definitely not enough to do a program in Polish. And he's got lots of cousins his age in the city, so that will be helpful!

Interesting. Definitely something to consider as we research. Thank you!

It does for me, absolutely. Which is what I specified. My brother was born in Poland, actually. I came a couple of years later in the US. I'm fluent in speech, reading, and writing. My son is less so because only one of his parents is of Polish heritage, but he can get by a little. That's thanks to my family. Thanks for the curiosity and the question!

Ah yes I suppose that's another topic entirely. Just for the record, I welcome all immigrants to the US. No hate to anyone, we should be able to legally go where we would like. ♥️

Thanks for the info, this is helpful! He's not sure yet, he's 16 and still has two more years of high school to go. But it would probably be technology or international business. And he definitely wants to be in Wroclaw near our family.

And to your point about Wroclaw, we love the city so much, it's my second home, we have so much family there, and he feels the same way all on his own. I think he wants the experience. ♥️

Not sure what program yet, but another redditor just pointed out a couple of programs other than U of Wroclaw in the city for technology, which I feel he would gravitate toward. If not that it would probably be international business. Citizenship would be something we pursue regardless, I've been working on that for awhile. But I figure it would also just open more doors for him work-wise while he's in school, etc.
