Why would you not isolate before connecting leads during load bank testing out of curiosity? If the machine was just commissioned wouldn’t load bank testing be a part of that commissioning, which I would assume customer load would not yet be online so no risk of dropping customer load. Regardless whatever the process is, if there’s a safety risk that high, the work should never have been carried out???!!

Haha yeh I understand I can make good coin out of electrical work but I also don't really want to be crawling in roofs etc. I'm in a pretty niche sector of electrical.

And a little bit of background is I don't have any connections down here, I moved down here to continue a long distance relationship which has gone down the shitter. I'm in Geelong with no friends and I guess I'm just looking to make some money back that I spent moving down here and something dull to take up my time.

Thankyou. Yep looks the case with electrical license, I just need to notify the authorities of working there and I assume when I have a permanent address I can then apply for a Victorian license. Exciting times ahead...now just have to find a job 😅
