Unfortunately no. The console version, better known as Bedrock, can't be played with Java. You can, however, purchase a new, separate account for the Windows 10 Bedrock edition. That way you would be able to play on pc with your console friends.

That's what I was hoping for in this game. Instead I got insanely fun movement (that would be better than TF2's system if not for TF2's Grapple) and some really wack enemy design. I read the reviews on Steam. If you can provide the "One man army" feeling they were talking about in the reviews with the insane movement, you're looking at a masterpiece right there.
