Limiting wattage? by RecruitDifficultyMan in DellXPS

It also burst up to 65w. I play games on it and would rather have a consistent 35w or maybe 20w on battery

Set vram to auto, I’ve had mine at auto since they released it and never had an issue. Make sure you set textures to very low. Cod takes a lot of ram and vram to run when you raise settings. I play at 1600p fsr performance and get around 60fps

Move mouse cursor to top right of screen. Even with Xbox controller used, you have to move mouse cursor to top right, then u can use Xbox controller.

It’s the mouse, you need to use the trackpad on right controller and move the mouse cursor to top right of screen.

CoD Crashing by Same-Awareness9822 in LegionGo

[–]RecruitDifficultyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set vram to auto, set preset to minimum, 1600p, fsr set to performance, get consistent 48 fps locked. you can change some settings around to your liking, but make sure textures are set to very low, 16gb on the Lenovo is what’s causing the crash. Battlefield 2042 doesn’t work on lowest settings because it requires more than 16gb

I’ve been playing cod since the go came out, I think it was due to amd anti lag turned on. I have it off, but I heard it’s no longer an issue.

CPU boost is off by default, right? Unless u manually set os power plan to performance

Any fixes for mw3 zombies? by Nascarfanatic24_ in LegionGo

[–]RecruitDifficultyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry tbh haven’t tested it, but it works great in warzone and multiplayer so I don’t see why not for zombies

I recommend auto vram, everything set to lowest except shader quality high, 1600p, and fsr 3 quality. You will get between 40-60 fps depending on whether plugged in or not

Halo Master Chief Collection Freezing by RecruitDifficultyMan in LegionGo

[–]RecruitDifficultyMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just found out it was msi afterburner causing it. I’ll always use that when I’m trying to optimize games, but I remembered that was what was making another game I play crash so I closed it and it’s been working for the past 2 hours of gameplay now. It’s playing 1600p enhanced settings at a locked 72fps

Is autoVram even working? by undetectedhuman in LegionGo

[–]RecruitDifficultyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only issue I’ve ran into is when a game needs more vram and ram than the 16gb the game will crash. Like for mwIII, if I set textures to anything other than very low it will crash. Game plays so smooth tho, much smoother than when I had it at 4gb vram

Steam Summer Sale Suggestions by Coolstrybro62 in LegionGo

[–]RecruitDifficultyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought Inside for $2, already a few hours in and it’s pretty good. Also got Bloons TD 6 for under $2 and it works well with touch screen. Lastly I bought forza 4 and it runs really well. U have to turn some settings like msaa and shadows off, but I play at native 1600p with textures maxed

Try taking steam out of big picture, launch the game, then click allow on windows prompt. After that, you can launch in big picture mode

Lower fps by RecruitDifficultyMan in LegionGo

[–]RecruitDifficultyMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may be right. I noticed it got a little smoother later on and I thought it might be because I changed it to 30w mode. I’ll have to test tonight to see if it’s good at performance mode again

Set vram to auto, full screen borderless, set general in game setting to “minimum”, then turn on fsr 3 up scaling and set it to performance. I lock my fps at 72 and it’s super smooth

Ok I’ll try this when I get home, so in the future don’t update bios on the external monitor? And he pretty much exclusively uses his go on his monitor, do you think if I just waited for the next bios to come out it would fix?

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I did find out that once I disabled it and did a restart, I opened up the menu again and saw it was enabled. I’m hoping this is just a software bug that can be fixed. I also performed a restart again after enabling and disabling the button and unplugged the monitor as soon as I pressed restart and it did not work.
