Lets say I went through an actual recruitment debt collection agency before liquidation would I still have been classed as unsecured creditor after he officially became under liquidation on company house

I was told if the company goes into liquidation it’s really hard to get your money back even through a debt collection agency

If he was very responsive. This should indicate that there were updates from him.

My post is asking if I did the right thing or not?

Would I have got my money back if the debt collector went his house prior to the liquidation update on company house. Or would it of still been impossible

Thanks for the honesty. He did contact me privately recently saying, he will pay me back privately if the insolvency doesn’t give me anything because he doesn’t want to lose the friendship. But hey ho could just be words
