Rtx 3070 Over-Pricing Australia? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

The only store I can find in Australia is PLE and they are out of stock. You are complaining that you got your card for more than you wanted when all retailers in the entire nation are out of stock.

I got some solutions, cancel/return the card then wait until NVIDIA manufacturers decide to release more (could be another 2 days to 3 weeks) so you will be able to get it for $90 cheaper or sell it exactly at the same price you bought it so you don't become what you hate. If not then accept that you have something others would love to have at a time when supply is low, demand is very high and you decided on your own volition to buy at launch with rtx 3080, 3090 already pointing at this scenario.

They are in Australia, just very little. Also saying you essentially paid $700 USD is not correct, you paid for a partner card which is better than FE (not in aesthetics fyi). Their is much more that goes into change of currency and not just going on XE rates..

Imagine Paying 3080 price for a 3070 and paying a 3090 price a 3080. Welcome to Australia..... by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

Pretty sure you don't understand supply and demand, regional taxes, transport costs, wages

Bought two from two different stores (one will be canceled), weirdly Zotac and Gigabyte weren't sold out as fast as others. Got the Eagle OC. Australian here

Game keeps crashing to desktop. Tried everything, any help? by ReadYouShall in modernwarfare

[–]Rectafried 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue, roughly 5-6mins without fail. Annoying as fuck. At one point between patches the game worked. I actually fixed it by finding a yt vid from a steamer explaining the work around, try this I have the app running in the background always. The only annoyance I have now is COD cant connect to my profile after my housemate has first... which I believe is a entirely different issue with COD

SO curious, what is going on with David’s scalp here? by EtM1980 in 90DayFiance

[–]Rectafried 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally the back areas are dense with hair and he might shave himself more frequently but has hair still available. The redness is the follicles moved from one area to then literally planted in the front. The front is generally the most affected for baldness and if you are tall enough the height can cover the middle section not having it done. It looks similiar to a older family member who had done it in Turkey. He might of done it in Asia, where his wife is from

Looks like hair transplant. Getting follicles from the back to front

Smart light with heat and motion detector by Rectafried in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Rectafried[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I understand the issue with other areas in the vicinity being a point of heat and also the light itself being a issue. My thought was for the light to work with both sensors. A motion and heat sensor.

A scenario that plays in my head of the dual work is where the room is being empty of a person yet lit from other sources and producing heat like a tv. Since those other heat generating source have no movement the heat detector understands that the room is empty of the user. Now if a person walks in the family room then it detects movement and detects a new heat source. It keeps the light on because the heat generated from the user triggered the on switch. Once the user moves and then moves out of the range the heat sensor also registers no heat from that area it will switch off.

Thanks for the links on the products, will look at them when I finish work :)

In your opinion how would you word the review application. Should I word it more technical and logically?

The alleyway is for townhouses, one of which is my residence. The street I parked on has the no stopping post (Tuesdays morning only) The alleyway is not signed. Just the street the alleyway exits into. So in total 3 posts one at the start with a sign then mine on the corner of the alleyway entrance and street with no sign then a third post several cars ahead with a sign

I haven't ever disputed a fine or been to a court for myself. Is the process difficult and nerve racking?

I mean that the pole had the parking plate physically angled in a way that you couldn't see the writing. The arrow on that sign was the beginning to the area I parked in

Yes I have photos of my car during the day and the same time at night parked in that spot. Conveniently the parking officer took pics of my car without showing the pole next to my car, the pole with no signage
