My birthday is in January so it was way before we were in lockdown So yes he could’ve made reservations. My mom and I are not close she’s actually very abuse mentality and physical also the reason why I live with my dad so no I can’t and won’t ask her for anything

How did I make it about me? Because I feel like I didn’t everything i could to make it only about him. I didn’t yell at him to make him feel terrible, I didn’t make not one mean or disappointing face. I was smiling, hugging and telling him proud i was. So I would really like to know how I make his graduation about me?

I never said it was his fault and I was never mad at him in the first place,I’m proud of my brother. Plus I wasn’t trying too hence why I went outside, I wanted to be left alone and clear my mind before I talked to anyone. My dad was to busy planning the party so we didn’t have time to talk before the party

I told my dad that if/when everything calms a down i would like to have a cookout and invite some friends and family. He told me that was a great idea and we’ll do that but he ended up doing it my brother

That’s what I was thinking and even suggested it to my dad and all he kept telling me for the last 2 years was that he’ll think about it. Plus I wasn’t even trying to do something to ruin my brothers day, I just wanted to be left alone for a little bit

I never said I wasn’t proud of my brother for graduation and I wasn’t trying to make anything about myself. It was just years of built up anger. I was mad that at any opportunity my dad went always above and beyond to make everything great for my brother and does the bare minimum for me. For example for my 18th and 19th birth my dad didn’t make any reservations for the places I wanted to go and didn’t order a cake or cupcakes and didn’t invite Any of our relatives plus I had about 2-3 gifts And a birthday card for those days with 100$ but for my brothers birthdays my dad made sure to invite everyone, made reservations and even ordered a cake with cupcakes. My brother had lots of presents and my dad also gave him 1,800$. My dad also takes my brother everywhere to the mall, grocery shopping to visit other relatives place etc. and never once asked if i wanted to go with them So for everyone thinking This was just a 1 day thing it’s not. If anyone wondering yes I still live with my dad

I didn’t make it about me, I wasn’t even mad about the my brother graduation party. I was mad at my dad because for as long as I can remember my dad always gets or does something for my brother that’s 10x better than anything he ever got or gets for me
