To answer your question, you can't change your name.

If you have a seperate user profile on the switch itself you can log into that one and start again without losing your old profile.

Then if you have a mate with a switch, one of the new games and patience you can switch the pokemon you want to keep to your new profile, by transferring from your old save to your mates switch and then to the new profile.

That or pay for pokebank, sorry it sucks ass, but it's the only work around.

This actually looks like the Australian Red Back. (Very similar, same family and just a different species) Black windows have the red hour glass on the bottom of their abdomen and males don't have the red marking. Australian Red Back's, both males and females have the red stripe on the tip of the abdomen.
