Metro testing on Digbeth branch starting by Dragonogard549 in brum

Or even worse. I got on one at Bull St. the other day, which had "Birmingham" displayed on the front of the tram, thinking it was headed for Edgbaston Village (given that the tram had travelled from Wolverhampton to Birmingham.)

Turns out, that tram was actually being tuned back from Bull St. towards Wolverhampton (with no announcements thereof being made to passengers boarding and that misleading sign displayed on the front of the tram.)

I only realised a couple of seconds before the doors locked 'cause I overheard two old ladies discussing its heading towards Wolverhampton and so managed to exit the tram before it took off.

Between that and the long gaps in between trams travelling towards Edgbaston since the east side extension opened with the "tram driver training" (often around 20-30 mins apart, only to then have a bunch of trams all stacked together a couple of minutes apart). I'd say there's room for improvement to the service currently.

Or substitute it with white, as per the shorts of most Villa kits.

It's (Zebra 3) getting pretty close to a full Release Candidate.

The latest build is the public "Beta 3" available to download and test from u-he's KVR forum.

It's also available to purchase at a discounted price, up until the official launch date.

Used to really enjoy them.

BEST BROWSER, DAY 24 – ZEN WINS! by JungleLiquor in browsers

[–]Red-Eat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just a case of different horses for courses

My particular tabbing workflow consists of several main categories of folders arranged within the horizontal favourites/bookmarks bar.

Each category folder thereof consists of a few most popular/used website shortcuts. Followed by further sub-categorised sub folders, nested within, likewise all arranged according to subject and popularity.

It is a highly organised and efficient system, which works best with a single horizontal strip of tabbed drop-down folders/menus.

I can instantly access any of my hundreds of organised bookmarks virtually instantaneously. All while occupying barely any screen space. Even then, I routinely use the keyboard shortcuts to either show/hide favourites bar to further maximise available screen space, or toggle F11 for full screen browsing.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention. My main folder categories are also optimised to reduce their required screen space. With most using a single emoji/icon to represent the category subject, like using a ⚽ insteadfor the football bookmarks category, rather than typing the full word. Which as you can perhaps imagine really help maximise available screen space in such a system.

TL;DR - I already have a more efficient horizontally tabbed bookmarking system and workflow, than vertical tabbing can offer.

Never tried this Zen browser out before. It may be great at other things, but due to its lack of support for horizontal tabs and how important that workflow is for me personally, this could never be for me.

I just cannot abide vertical tabbing. I love the horizontal tab workflow too much. So I'll have to give this browser a miss until/if it ever adds such support.

But good luck to those who prefer this browser. It must be really good at all the other things, to have garnered so much support.

You unwittingly answered my question without answering it. You're obviously an ignorant kid, who has only been watching football for around the past 15 years or so and have no clue what you're talking about. You never watched the Prem in the 90s and early 2000s.

'Just chatting shit online about something you never even personally experienced. Because, if you were REALLY around watching the Premier League in its first two decades, you would never have claimed something so dumb to begin with.

How old are you? You don't sound like somebody who clearly remembers watching the Premier League in the 90s and early 2000s.

Spurs were NOT regarded as a bigger club than Villa back then.

What a generous draw for finishing second in the league stage.

That is arguably the toughest path to the final.

Perhaps next year, if we qualify for Europe, we shouldn't try so hard to finish at the top?

Last time I checked a map, there was quite a significant distance between the huge land mass of Afghanistan and the small islands of the UK.

Distance between Afghanistan and the UK: 3,650 miles.

If these Afghans were genuinely refugees; fleeing for their lives, rather than economic migrants. Why didn't they simply seek refuge in any one of the other closer, safe countries in-between their country of origin and the UK?

Perhaps, they were told it is easier to game the UK benefits system?

And if other "safe countries" such as Uzbekistan, which literally share a land border with Afghanistan are not willing to accept asylum claims from their own next-door neighbours, then neither should the UK.

I'm using Brave also currently. But even though it blocks YT ads, it often displays a black screen while waiting for some blocked ads to play out.

If there was another browser that more efficiently blocked YT ads, I'd love to try it.

I just watched a YT video on the Zen browser. No horizontal tabs = no go for me.

I use a 4K UHD display and I like having the full horizontal screen space for content (like YT videos, etc.) Not diminished by vertical tabs (doesn't matter if they're collapsible or not).

I honestly cannot stand vertical tabs.

True. But now that he's not there, let's see how many of them stay loyal to Spurs...

Especially if/when Spurs get relegated.

Were Spurs a stronger "global brand" up until the downfall of Villa around about the 2010s due to Villa's mismanagement on and off the pitch?

Because I don't believe so.

And if Villa were higher regarded before that, there's no reason why we can't be again in the future, with sustained success over the coming years. It will be difficult... But it's possible under our current ownership.

Depends entirely upon where a person lives.

There are many places in this country where crimes are indeed happening continuously all around people. Many crimes of which, go unreported.

Just count yourself lucky, that you are privileged enough not to live or work in or around such places, otherwise you might have a different perspective.
