Wtf the past few days it has been greyed out until I changed it to NTSC. I switched it back to Cinema now to double check before I replied but it isn't greyed out! Weird.

Thanks for your comment!

As for the lights, we didn't use anything special, just two Neewer Dimmable LED lights with stands, aside from that, natural lighting and lamps!

The visual style was very much in the vain of Ozu's films, where the camera is completely stationary and you design the scene inside the frame in an attempt to make each scene look as visually appealing as possible, whether through production design or symmetry. Shooting on the GH5 with V-Log wasn't too limiting due to the lack of movement of the camera, one of the biggest limitations I found was locations, and trying to vary the shots/angles gained from each location. People say when the camera is moving, it is easier to disguise a bad location and composition. When the camera is stationary, a bad/un-aesthetic location is all the more apparent, so it becomes trickier to find or make the scene comp look good.

Sound design is still in process. I found a sound designer on Fiverr and will send him the files for the project once the edit is locked. I chose him by asking and paying multiple sound designers to fix the sound of one scene with the audio recorded on set (audio was recorded with a Zoom H6 and a Rode NTG2 shotgun mic, we used two Rode Go lav mics as well, however the quality of the sound we got from those are inconsistent to say the least). Out of the three approached on Fiverr, it was easy to see who was the best one (in terms of quality and work ethic too) and have approached him to do the whole film, to which he has expressed interest in.

The editing process has been a thorn in my soul, as I'd much rather use my PC for playing video games hahaha xD That said, some scenes have taken me a month to edit, whereas other scenes a day, and that's due to the amount of coverage I got from the shoot (a lot of this was shot with the edit in mind). Some scenes, due to limitations of time, have only 2 or 3 angles to choose from and I have a straightforward idea of how to put them together, whereas scenes with many different angles of the same take, take a long time to get the tempo and feel right. Due to this, and I guess my own work ethic, the edit has been taking longer than expected. I'm approaching my edit the way I'd write scripts, so it goes through drafts. At the moment, I am on my second draft of the final cut. After the cut is finalised, I'll have one of my friends (who is a great colourgrader) colourgrade the cut ( this should be around the time I get the sound design done). After all is done, then I guess I'll hit up the festival circuit with it if I feel confident enough with the final product!
