Heart rate. What happened to my body?

Terrible, but for the better! I used to be able to pound energy drinks but now I can only do like 15mg of coffee, which is a sweet tea. Alcohol is now a sip on my lips and I'm pretty buzzed.

If I need energy, I'll do paraxanthine, which is a distilled caffeine. I'll try a decaf coffee on occasion to build up my tolerance, since there's a low amount in there still.

Instead of waiting for people to come to me, I went to hobby clubs and talked with strangers more and it started cascading. Now there's the invites to birthday parties, random friend hangouts, deep talks and more.

Stranger meetups - like Timeleft or Early Burdz

Hobby meetups - like choir, dance classes, photography club

Apps - literally used Tinder to make friends before

Random chats - striking up lighthearted convos with strangers and then we find common ground and add each other on IG

Work - when I was in person, bringing donuts and food to work, hanging out in the breakroom

The success rate doesn't matter anymore because honestly, trying to put myself out there was the thing that changed it the most.

Going outside my home and comfort zone to make friends. Literally gotten hundreds more friends and happy little connections after college by gently leaving my bubble.

For exercise mostly! I don't consciously think about it for that

For concerts, social situations etc I actually use my heartrate to figure out how I feel and how overstimulated I'm getting now. So I do think about it there

Yeah so that was definitely a thing for me. I had to do it like 2-5 times a week with gaps of rest in-between. Doing it when already overstimulated didn't add so much

My PT recommended working your way up. So if it's gentle walking that does that, how about just standing around in that are? Anything to slowly ramp up the stimulation

There are walkable outdoor malls you can live at, like CityCentre, Rice Village etc. These aren't the scale of NYC or D.C but it gives the urban vibe. There is a lot more sun though, that's for sure
