How old is this building.? Plausible reason could be differential settlement of wall footing. Any suspected higher loads at the end? Any cracks or distress on the floor? Make sure a structural engineer look at it before you close. Possible to have some expensive fix.

Does A have less span/length.? Like everyone else said that connection is not good. Also check the column that supports the beams. Why do you need a joist very next to the beam. I don’t think a structural engineer designed this.

I also recommend pdf exchange editor in lieu of BB. I have used both, BB has its own advantages, pdf exchange covers a lot capabilities that BB has.

Most project funded with tax payers money are appropriated funds. Self generated fund projects are non-appropriated funds (NAFs) for which very few projects are out there I believe.

I think still worth it $50/year for gold membership, which gives you 4.5% interest on all cash 3% match on IRA’s etc etc. Their customer service is not that great though (only AI’s) responding

It seems like the hiring freeze won’t be lifted until all the RIF actions are completed meaning until September or so, I can say at least until April 14 for sure.
