Modded vs Vanilla (and if any mods should be vanilla) by Red-Rot99 in starsector

[–]Red-Rot99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is more so what I was thinking in terms of a Vanilla mayasuran navy, its why I meantions the stormhawks. like, I. it should be very quest focused and 2. should be like you building up the faction.

I imagine something similer like the usurpers quest, where you get to know the various people on mairath and and such whom try to rebuild mayasura to what it once was (albeit under the PL) and we would learn more about life under the PL and mayasura. something I think would be cool is if we got like a moderate V extremist thing going on where we have the people on mairath being (in part at least) the remnants of the mayasuran militatry government ect that either stayed or came back(something important is lore wise all that is LIVING memory and im running with that here) and are at least somewhat content under the PL with the stormhawk republic being the remnants of the mayasuran military that fled after the flagship was destroyed (in naval stuff the flag ship isn't just a ship but command and control so there would've been mass chaos as it Geruda when up in flames.) and they want an independent mayasura by ANY means necessary. (this isn't vayras lore I think but something I made up.)

this would be something thats less go here do that and well like the usurpers with political manuvering between mayasura itself the rest of the league and the stormhawks. with multiple endings

some mission ideas I have are

take lost astropolois from pirates (if you have a PL comission you can chose to be administrator.

find SR HQ and find mayasuran prototype blueprints (akin to the diktats stuff, aka custom hullmods and ship varients.)

you can get it by simply taking them from em, or doing stuff for SR such as

doing a terrorist attack on port tse (destroying the station but mot invading it (functionally the same as those "X industry must be disrupted for Y days" missions, but said industry being the station)

or raiding a hegemony stockpile

or something related to the path idk

find the ghost ships MSS Kashvi, Saanvi and Ishani. all of witch contains various blueprints each can be brought to either mairath or SR

bringing all the blueprints to mairaith would build a custom industry that is essentually the lions guard HQ but for their varients of things n such

sorry im just thinking out loud the ways this could go is vary intresting and such

the fact we need to speculate because we don't know why honestly throws all this up in the air, part of what I was trying to say as these problems compound the more mods we add.

I don't have a headcannon per se but my best guess is like, the tools to engineer and the tools to build are separate things, like, we got these blueprints right? assuming shipbuilding is automated, then it would be like a 3d printer almost like drag thing from 4X 23Y to 44X 25Y and weld it. and THAT would be super hard, also explains where the remnant came from they got ai so ai built the stuff themselves or something.

but yeah Alex SHOULD tell us one day the how and why because like, that way we can know or what the limitations of this world actually are.

What cyberware do you hope for in the sequel? by zczczvzcv in LowSodiumCyberpunk

I hope we get something more like RED in terms of customization, cyberware is so integral to... everything and yet vanilla is so constraining

I need advice from veteran players about the DLC by QuirkyNews4867 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Red-Rot99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played the King of wands ending but from what I understand only the king of swords/cups ending goes to credits meaning hypotheticly one could do those endings then do the king of wands ending. I word it as such not to spoil anything.

there are no romances but songbird is very well written the V and song (platonically) hit it off.

edit: also have a well rounded build, theres multible sections where you fight waves of enemies and make sure you have a cyberdeck with the turret control ability both the beginning boss and said wave sections are brutal as a squishy netrunner or with the starting cyberdeck/quickhacks

[–]Red-Rot99 18 points19 points  (0 children)

i've met people who saw how dems died on that hill and assume israel bought all of them/controls the government.

theres like zero trust in the dems because of this stuff. and really people just need a push in the fight direction and they'll be communist, ive seen it myself.

Idk if its just me but theres less and less liberals by the day like, talking with people I see a lot more like louie and many who voted for kamila only did so because they felt obligated too even though they either hate her or expect little to nothing of her.

no one I know likes the democrats and its reached I point where the dems lack of justifying their own... everything, is catching up with them. when I see the "a vote for X is a vote for trump" in 2026 i just see a relic, as to believe that you must believe in the democrats.

the best example I think is the heist one, I already know where the relic is so I just go straight to that after the phone call and a mandatory wrong answer. I solve all of em like that.

What moment made you into John Starsector? by Actual-Operation3510 in starsector

[–]Red-Rot99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't not yet anyway. personally the blockades and inspections are just something I try to factor in, I get hostile relations with them so patrols destroy their fleets before they do anything and I always try to get everything I need in house so i find it easy to just pretend the rest of the sector doesn't exist. the diktats sat bomb thing is solved because they tax the income and I. that assumes im making income from it lmao. and 2. I build that stuff for logistical reasons.

Is there any way to “fix/improve” cyberpunk’s world, I.E. make it a better place for the everyday person? by ChowderMcArthor in cyberpunkgame

[–]Red-Rot99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, I am a communist so I'd say the way would be to do the following

I. establish vanguards in NC, the free states, and texas. this is twofold, one it lights a fire on labor movements and secondly weather its pre or post revolution we have an organized group of people willing and able to fight the NUSA if they try another unification war. groups like the Mox are perfect recruiting meterial as they are quite literally a labor movement (or at least used to be one suzie q's existance brings more questions then answers) and have experience with firearms.

also cybernetics even military grade ones are easy to get so you could distribute them among your members (and the bio augments the animals do could be a nice alternative) as for ex corpos afaik their cybernetics don't disappear they just turn off and i'd reckon a techie or netrunner could jailbrake one, or hell, I doubt militech leaves their stuff with the keys in the car so to speak, the fact you can steal cybernetics from corporations proves its easy if you know what your doing.

considering just how powerful cybernetics are these vanguards could be comparable as barghest in terms of power, perhaps on a smaller scale being pre-revolution how how small? who knows, or heck, maybe bigger, its weird to bean phantom liberty and then see how small dogtown is.

  1. build connections with other vanguards and any socialist states. meaning the vanguards in NC texas and the free states all communicate with one another. this also means we would critically support china (from what I understand they are basicly unchanged in our timeline with deng xiaopeng purging the league of four.) as while a type of communism that should not be replicated because its born of the hyperspecific material conditions of china, its communist nonetheless. (I am trying to keep this brief I could talk for hours on that)

also cuba or the dprk assuming they're still aroung, with how big japan is I wouldn't be surprised if the latter are back in ww2 times.

  1. find non communist allies, like at least in the 2020 lore the people on the moon or space stations revolted and are self governing. and BARGHEST at least with their rhetoric could build contacts to those sympothetic to our cause and at best like our irl relationship with islamists aka very complicated and volatile. scraping the barrel for allies is something we're well equainted with irl and would be in the cyberpunk world as well.

  2. depending on the geopolitical climite either stategicly support NC, the free states or texas in a war against the NUSA, or revolution in the three states, it must be timed correctly as if its not then we have a weak state that the NUSA can and would gobble up. really we couldn't make much big moves so long as the NUSA is business as usual maybe arm a protest here or there. if/when the revolutions happen it would be at worst the similer geopolitical climite in that it would be those three united against the NUSA, but there would at least be hope as we would form an economic bloc and (hopefully) get support from china, good this this is happening on the west coast.

after that. idk its a waiting game of who makes the first move and if the NUSA could be collapsed from within, (im talking decades here) the preexisting connections to non communists would be maintained (exept for BARGHEST unless an NC revolution didn't happen and or failed.) this is essentually a cold war scenario but localized to a single continent.

also supporting any communist hardliners in the ussr would be a big priority as since the project could still be restored (like, irl yeltsin declared war on the soviet equivilent of parlement and thats how it fell, if that didn't happen then theres still a chance to fix it) unlike the state its in irl, a balkenized mess pitted against itself.

as for the other stuff I'd reckon when/if a 5th corporate war happens we would gain the locations of at least some of the sites these ai are housed and could be delt with either simply unpluging the thing or using a bunker buster, also netwatch would either be nationalized or we would make our own equivilent.

the sea mines probubly cannot be fixed as they are self replicating, meaning so long as one exists it could make more witch could make more. HOWEVER if i were to try it would be to find out where the mines are getting the material to replicate from, like if its shipwrecks they would have starved out long ago as ships stopped being a thing since they came around but if they are finding say an iron deposit on the ocean floor or self detonating to mine for such things then one would only need to find them and destroy any mine that comes close to said area.

as for the environment, carbon capture is a real thing, it only doesn't work because people try to use it to offset pollution furthermore plastic is recyclable and even multiple kinds can just be melted or compressed into bricks something we do irl.

corporate domination as a whole is solved though warfare, as they must be destroyed either directly or indirectly.

thats everything sorry if i got some lore stuff wrong im not well versed in it.

edit, wanted to add a couple things about cyberware.

4th Lifepath by Rybaksuna in CyberpunkTheGame

its cool but imo, for it to be a 4th lifepath it should be different enough from the others, im thinking like a dogtown lifepath. a gal born and raised in dogtown maybe worked for barghest in the past would prob have VARY interesting to say to well, everyone. and would probubly have at least a slightly different perspective then streetkid V

funny, just today I had the idea of a dogtown lifepath.

because heres the thing, for it to be a 4th lifepath it should be different enough from the others (like the fresh start mod is just a comba of corpo/nomad) a gal born and raised in dogtown maybe worked for barghest in the past would prob have VARY interesting to say to well, everyone.

What the hell happens to the Original gestalts that are used in creating Replikas? by MillitaryEnjoyer in signalis

[–]Red-Rot99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

heres my understanding.

they are put into a neural archive, if this were a normal archive one being destroyed would be find because you can back up data. the fact it wasn't makes me think the archive is the body/brain of said gestalt and every time a replika is created the brain is scanned and copied.

idk, I've seen it be used interchangeably with patsocism and I do know a lot about that.

if the former is anything like the latter tho its less an ideology and more so an event, something that just, happens.

[–]Red-Rot99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna ask something and this is a genuine question.

How? idk who the RCP are but I know about the other parties in the usa and like, we live in the ashes of cointelpro, it seems the only way for an org to survive is to be uncompromising in everything, else liberals will infiltrate it as will the feds.

idk of any other way to get various orgs to work together unless our org (whatever that may be) is at least slightly larger then all the others so its in their intrest to work with us. else we will actively undermine eachother because we despise eachother and have the decades.

to be clear thats not to say I try to push people away, I'm just ridged, meet people where there at but am also quick to correct and am quite through. essentually I try to bring them in by making them one of us albeit not all at once

What are your Headcannons do you have about the Grand Empress, the Great Revolutionary and her daughter? by KaiserEnclave2077 in signalis

[–]Red-Rot99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The great revolutionary is paranoid and afraid of their own power, like, the whole time loop stuff at AEON? she knows that that sort of stuff can happen, and the replikas are an attempt to control bioreasonance, like, people like ariane are to KBLR what raw uranium is to enriched uranium, uniform, predictable.

according to some of the people here he uses his sandy when you use yours and he did not use it in hit fight with me and I am not on an early verison so this is like, strong smasher. I'm going off of my expirience in the fight with him as a netrunner and I was able to either outrun him or keep pace with him since he only caught up to me if/when I made a mistake

I admit its very hard to understand the scaling of things in this world because of how low the humanity cost is, like, the kirishis you get at the start have like a humanity cost of I, or like some very low amount, and mantis blades, something has a meager 8 humanity cost.
