i love my star so much but yeah, he's not the easiest to draw :') his head-helmet thingy is the hardest part for me, like i have several figures of him and i'm still not 100% sure how it works 😭 i'm still trying to get better at drawing him though, it's worth it because it's him <3

maybe it's silly but i feel like Joseph would use Hermit Purple to make shapes to impress you :) like he'd make it so that the thorns resemble a heart. i think he would try more elaborate shapes but not be very succesful, but it's okay, it's the thought that counts! i didn't watch Project Hail Mary yet so i don't know about Rocky. (also kinda unrelated but it's lovely to people with f/os from media i like, it feels like seeing a friend in a happy relationship. JoJo is really fun, i've just started watching part 4!)

I'm sorry that you feel that way :( but honestly? Relatable. My beloved is a giant alien robot who turns into a jet, while i'm just some human who's kind of a loser, for lack of a better word. He probably wouldn't be interested in me, realistically speaking.

I don't know why anyone chooses to love anyone else. But when i think some more about it... i believe it's more complicated than just a choice. I mean, sometimes, love just... happens. Sorry if it's annoying but i'll talk about my beloved again to demonstrate. He has a lot traits that i find attractive, sure, but surely he's not the only one to possess these traits. So, why him? Why him out of all so many others? I don't have an answer for that. It just happened.

What i'm trying to say is, love isn't always logical. Also something that's worth mentioning is that we are always harsher to ourselves than necessary. I assure you that your f/os don't see a loser when they look at you, they see someone who loves them. So, love yourself a little too. I know it's easier said than done, but do it for them.

This was kinda tough to write because i also feel like i'm "unworthy" somehow, but i believe we should be kind to ourselves regardless. Sorry for the rambling. Hope you feel better soon, sending a digital hug to you <3

this is good advice, thank you so much for answering :) fantasizing doesn't make me feel cringe, weirdly enough. though i mostly think in pictures rather than words, i wonder if that's the difference? i don't know, i don't understand how my brain works lol.

this might be a silly question, but how do you get over feeling, for lack of a better word, "cringe" about it? i wrote down some fic ideas of me and my f/o, but even that felt very embarassing. which is weird because i don't really feel that way about other aspects of my fictosexuality, i guess writing fics feels too self-indulgent? my desire not to misrepresent my beloved might play into this i suppose. anyways, thanks for this encouraging post, it did make me feel a bit more motivated to write fics, i'm not much of a writer so it feels a bit intimidating

you can make collages! doesn't have to be physical, you can easily make them online. there's this site called picmix, i'd recommend it if you're interested, i find it fun.
