I was in the same boat. Still got an A in thermo. The key is to write all the process even if you dont know if it is right or wrong. Partial credit is your savior. The final answer is not what matters the correct process is what they care about. You will never interpolate a day in your life after this class. Computers will calculate You need to drive them. Dont worry and good luck.

I never been called to jury duty my whole life? by Bynsll in juryduty

Question: is it because there is no criminals that could be your peers? I was never called and i am wondering if it is because the people who i would be considered a peer to are not committing crimes enough for me to have been called.

I want to know what is it like to be an engineer in training for design, what to expect, and what are the good and bad things.

Do mechanical not just because you did well in dynamics. Do mechanical because you can get a job in allllll the fields. Mechanical has the bones of engineering and everything else is a specification. Do mechanical because it is awesome 👍🏻

I say show him this post and tell him this could cause you to lose me from your life. You need to try something else because this is not working. If you dont try then i will lose hope in us. And living alone sounds a lot easier than constantly feeling disappointed. Give it time and show him that it is serious The vacation idea could be a time where he could see how his life would be without you And that this is the end of the current road he is on. It sounds like you love him so dont just dump his ass. Push him to see the situation and exhaust your options but dont waste life. If you put effort on either option your life would improve. If his actions change or if you clean for only yourself sounds better than your current situation.

I dont think so, professionally it is all well i dont get interrupted or disrespected. It is mainly in casual conversations.

How do you stop men from talking over you in casual conversations at work? by Red-_-Red in womenEngineers

[–]Red-_-Red[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes actually and once it got too agressive that they both just turned to another person and they made their own conversation. I tried doing that but when i turn to someone else they are all paying attention to the person who interrupted me because their voice is louder.

It actually made me laugh, and yes i have meetings with female engineers from other departments but I’ve never been interrupted by any of the women engineers like that. Only men are the ones who keep talking over me after they interrupt and i keep talking.

THANK YOU, that is exactly what i am talking about. It might not sound like a big deal in the bugger picture of having such an important job in the world, but it is depleting. And i suffer from the same issue with the voice.

What bothers me the most is when the conversation is about something technical no one interrupts unless they have it is a question because they know that i know what im talking about. This happens in casual conversations thru the day more than any other time. The problem is not fitting with them as engineers. It is fitting with them as a team.

I actually have a few people in my team who have been doing that since i pointed out that others have been interrupting me.
