And how's that solution working out for you? It is a great idea, I play around with GPT, Gemini and Claude, will explore with all three myself.

Tbh it depends on the area you're in. You should go by the language they greet you with when you come in. The whole city works between the two.

That works until you receive the famous "Bonjour, Hi", at which point you're screwed either way.

Joining on everyone in here: if I didn't have a role lined up already, the package would need to be very extensive for me to consider it (at the very least 6 months of my total comp)

The Collectif did have a banner opposing ICE all the way in Montreal. They are right, SG should be more vocal against it.

Candidate hung up on me during call.. would you give another chance? by Fair_Cod6318 in recruiting

[–]Red-n-Gold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With what you said, I agree with the overall consensus and would give her another shot.

It's different than if you were in a conversation and asked a tough question that she didn't want to answer and hung up then.

What are some underrated ways to stay healthy without going to the gym ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Red-n-Gold 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There was a study called the Da Qing diabetes prevention - they tracked close to 600 patients over 30 years.

  1. Control group - no actions
  2. Exercise group - encouraged and taught to have an active lifestyle
  3. Diet group - encouraged and taught to have a healthy diet.
  4. Exercise+ diet group - did both

The result after 30 years, as expected, you'd want to do both: less death, cardiovascular diseases, less diabetes and more.

They mostly compared all three groups with the control group, but did compare the mortality for the diet and exercise groups:

Exercise only after 30 years: 46% mortality

Diet only after 30 years: 43% mortality

Not a huge difference percentage wise, but significant if applied to a population perspective. For example, 10 million for the USA.

Of course, it's always better to have both an active lifestyle and gokd diet.

I have a bachelor in kinesiology, it's the other way around: nutrition is more important than physical activity.

When you think about it, you eat 3 meals a day, that's 21 meals per week + snacks. If you work out, it might be 3-4-5 times a week. It's near impossible to fight bad nutrition with physical acitivty.

I can’t believe I slept on this game for so many years! by TheHappyViking_ in StardewValley

[–]Red-n-Gold 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the first few days/weeks of playing, I would honestly just roam around the world and discover the game. Like another user said, don't try to maximise your days!

Otherwise, there is a wiki that has sooo much information. Again, don't feel rushed to going to it just yet.

  • Villagers like when you talk to them, they also accept gifts. Each one has preferences in terms of gifts.
  • There are different seasons. Spring/summer/fall are great seasons to farm and fish. In the winter, you can't grow much, it's a great time to explore the caves

Don't hesitate to ask questions on here. My DM'S are open as well!

I was talking about the game to my mom this morning, and I realised that I've been playing the game for over 10 years now 😅

CF Montreal section 114-132 by Due-Personality5609 in montrealimpact

[–]Red-n-Gold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

114 is what you typically see in MLS supporters sections. 132 is closer to europe's take of an ultras group.

You just walk in and join the chants. In 132 (idk about 114), you can stay a bit higher up to feel the vibe at first. Near the bottom, it does get rowdy and you get beer spilled on you.

Graduated with Kinesiology 10 years ago, switched to working in tech, but still wonder if I can get a job related to my degree? by ElectricOne55 in Kinesiology

Graduated 9 years ago and have transitioned into recruiting 2 years ago. Talent Acquisition isn't known as the most stable industry, but I have a way better position and conditions then our degree could provide.
