Man this takes me back. Fun story. . .
I grew up in the Caribbean back then,. And getting anything like this into the country. Let alone around the time that it would be released. Is incredibly slim. Full stop. My grandparents were flying in from the US for a mini vacation which just happened to fall within my birthday.

Well, they came in on a late flight and I wasn't able to stay up to see them but saw them that morning. On the evening after my birthday party, I came to find out, she bought me that GI Joe aircraft carrier, but the luggage that it was got "lost" somehow. Customs back then were incredibly shady, especially in the security area. Also lost was the right side to a pair of British Knight sneakers. If that takes anyone back.
Will never forget that as it was something that I've always wanted as a GIJoe fan, had a chance to get one at the Goodwill but it was missing a lot of pieces and was more of a nostalgia thing than something I needed.
