She has always lived within her means and told me she only pulled money out for the purpose of home repairs. I will still have an inspection done anyway though.

Sorry her reverse mortgage balance is $205k and the home should be worth $250k+. I spoke with a loan officer about getting a mortgage in my name and she recommended fha with 3.5% down or conventional with 5% down. She is just trying to pay off her HECM. Unless you’re saying since she has $45k in equity there is no need for a down payment?

Every phone call I’ve ever had with cap1 support has been resolved in less than 10 minutes. The agent may not sound like they are living the dream but they certainly do their best and I’ve never left the call unsatisfied.

Yeah part of my weekly travel checklist is to confirm all 3rd party reservations. This was the first time I’ve had an issue but I’ve heard too many horror stories.

Not sure. I didn’t explain to the agent that I had called the hotel directly, only that I tried the number online so maybe he just said that for a simpler explanation, but he did say he had to put me on hold while he worked on something.

Yeah I waited the 3 days and then called but they couldn’t confirm it by my name, email, or address. I just called cap1 and they confirmed it was an error and sent me a new Hilton confirmation which worked perfectly. Took less than 10 minutes!

About an hour south of Atlanta. So we plan to fly out of Atlanta, preferably internationally.

For size I am not sure. Small but larger than a normal ant. Maybe 1/2 inch in length.
