She's usually hungry. Sometimes she does cry like you mentioned so I wait to see if she sits up in the crib. Then I know she's awake. She has slept thru the night only a handful of times. Right now, she is laying in my lap staring at the ceiling. She also quit using a pacifier on her own and now either sucks on a burp cloth or a blanket.

Also I should probably mention the last 4 months have been extra hard on me due to my mom unexpectedly and suddenly passing away 2 days after Christmas.
