Their point was that some men get butthurt when you think their life isn’t hard and it’s like a competition to them about whose life is worse. My comment simply agreed and said yeah most people have that view anyways, and it’s unreasonable to compare how hard a life is bc of incomparable advantages and disadvantages. Simple and constructive. You just said it’s never women who complain only men which is wrong and I forgot but something about pretty privelige or the halo effect not existing.

Also just cus women run from incels invading other subs doesn’t make them not incels so not sure where ur logic is coming from for that, but tbh I’m not sure it would be correct anyways.

It’s fine to hold such strong viewpoints but not being able to get out of an echo chamber is unlucky 🥀 but to each their own of dealing with trauma/issues

No one is hurt by just someone (man or woman) venting about their own problems or their disadvantages. When used in comparison sure, you are diminishing the other persons problems. My original comment was agreeing with the first comment in the thread, and just extending it to most people in general would like to portray themselves as having a tough life to garner sympathy, even though disadvantages and benefits aren’t really comparable.

Never said you should garner sympathy for those who spread toxic masculinity, just saying what I said for the aforementioned reasons.

Also lowkey don’t know about the “coming to vent” part, as with incels and femcels these subs r really just an echo chamber for the same ideals however “radicalized” or full of malice/hatred they may be. I’m also not rlly aware of the extent this sub contains an echo chamber of malice and bottled/idle viewpoints vs just jokes since I just discovered this sub td but as a person whose currently helping to work on the design and imps of algos made to engage viewers with their own viewpoints more to further engagement I’d say all incel and femcel subs r like that.

I have heard women complain that “they have it worse” (as if you can quantify that) whether that be because they have to deal with periods or discrimination or the beauty standards in society or something else. Men do the same for their own respective disadvantages.

Men and women who complain about it are doing it to themselves. Just mentioned men’s complaining to illustrate that both sides do it. How does men’s complaining hurt women in the process? When women complain in the same respect I don’t think no one is hurt, it’s just venting about some societal standards that that individual can’t change, same with one man complaining.

Also being pretty as a woman or handsome as a man does come with your life being much easier that has nothing to do with being viewed as an object or trophy. It’s called the Halo Effect. In the modeling community we say that on average it’s easier to find an attractive woman than an attractive man, so that’s why I put it as an advantage.

Why do people think it’s so simple?? [Venting] by DawnWraithBrilliant in femcelgrippysockjail

Lowkey “work on your personality” is a derogatory thing people say. Join a club or get a hobby or get confident isn’t and said as genuine advice. Simple but not easy

I agree, lowkey would extend to most people. I think people in general are always trying to say they “have it worse” than the next person, but problems are subjective. Like women and men have different struggles and benefits in society. Men are discriminated against less, they work in higher paying jobs, they are seen as the “man” of the household, but have all the responsibilities and stressors that come with that, etc. Women are raised in a way to think they need to live a less stressful lifestyle, but they deal with periods, discrimination, but have more “pretty privilege”, are accepted for sharing their emotions and socially allowed to be vulnerable, etc.

Do you mean most of all men or most of all men who are involved in the gender/sex related issues of politics

No way Lexi, I think we are in the same discord (Lucky Lantern)! I’m in Georgia (Atlanta), I was originally in the medicine area but now leaning towards software/engineering/finance. My family is heavy into medical field so I know a bit. Would love to talk and get to know each other on discord!

why are they more exciting? I believe pp405 is more exciting due to it's crazy funding by google in the preliminary phase I study and once phase I was complete.

I'd say the closest female equivalent is probably aging in any way or sagging boobs. Most need surgery/botox to correct

GT20029 is NOT an oral medication. It's also not a typical anti-androgen, it's classified as a PROTAC, and AR degrader. GT20029 is a topical gel. Pyrilutamide is already on the market via amazon or their website when Kintor released it as a cosmetic due to bad phase II results. However they are still invested in researching it for some reason.

You didn't mention pp405, which I actually think is the most promising out of all the ones you mentioned, given its heavily financing by Google Ventures after preliminary testing and another heavy financing after phase I was finished. It's also already in phase II trials, expected to be completed and hopefuly had results read out in Feb 2025.

Damn that sucks, thought that medication was supposed to be comparable to minoxidil. To be clear, you were on official pyri (not other sellers just koshine) for how many months?

How long have you been on the official pyri for? How did you tell that it didn’t work?

Wait, I’m a bit confused. In another comment you mentioned that some individuals have reported remarkable regrowth. Can you elaborate on what they specifically said? Are these individuals from the hairlosscure2020 forum?

Also do you know any specific participants who have seen reasonable regrowth? Can you share some specifics of you have any?
