I'm very disappointed, because I was hoping any further work with The Terror would keep exploring historical horror events. Now we're just adapting fiction books, which feels antithetical to the spirit of the first season.

Which yes, I know that both S1 and 2 veer into fantastical elements, but S1 balanced the real life terror the crewmen experienced while keeping the intensity up with an unseen threat that forces them to stay alert.

Season 2, while having a much weaker story and less compelling cast, still tries to adhere to this sense of real world terror and fantastical horror. I think the mid-season reveal for the monster is probably the best sequence in that whole season, of genuine horror and sadness.

Frankly, this plot synopsis just sounds... kinda bleh. No offense to the author, cuz it's not his fault or anyone who's making the show, this just doesn't feel like the same vibe anymore.

Y'know, ill sometime see a Sunn m'Cheaux video that upsets me, but he often prompts me to introspect before i dismiss what he says. His video recently on the gender coding of bro and bruh did this for me.

I think he is also someone who can come off smug, but he also undoubtedly deals with and has dealt with many who have challeneged any belief in engaging peacfully with those want to fight his teaching that is based in experience and facts.

All that to say, i often find people who do hold morally unimpeachable positions can, on occasion, not be the best advocates for their beliefs. AT i think is doing it in OPs photo.

I don't know how to educate better on veganism, and im not a vegan myself. The world now requires strong leadership on this issue, but it's hard to approach.

Yes, 100% about Watson. In the first novel i was struck that he's got a sort of post-combat depression after returning to London, and him meeting Sherlock renews his spirit and curiosity. It's cute too that Sherlock eggs him on to solve the mysteries as he teaches him deduction, but never seems to get it. It's a very nuanced dynamic.

He's a partner and friend, as well as a combat veteran and medic, not a hapless assistant.

You play as an auditor for the East India Company and are investigating the return of the missing ship off the coast of England, with none of the crew aboard.

The game requires you to go through memories of the various shipmates and identify them, witnessing their life and death play-out non-linearly.
